Yay. Finally I seem to have allies selectable. Even with all the bugs I am loving this game. Now if I could just get my ps4 version and ipad version to make friends and realise they are both linked to the same account to get mime Johnny

Anyone had much luck with the rare equipment draws? I have kenshi's weapon and an ermac accessory. Is there a weapon armor and accessory for each person or only 1 piece? They seem to me to be the ratest cards.

Sorry if I missed this but does anyone else have sound static issues with this game especially on iPad? It's awful and intermittent.

Yes. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.

    Grandmaster Sub-Zero or Inferno Scorpion?

    Who's better?

Personally, I favor Scorpion. Overall stronger stats and his passive is more offensive where Sub-Zero is more defensive. I'm not much on defense so Scorpion wins.

Here's some more to consider -

    Inferno Scorpion -
On tag-in his basic attacks do massive damage. He is a real beast but you have to be able to make the most of those six seconds.
His Special Attack 1 can stun but does decent damage and is easy to execute. If the opponent blocks though it's like giving them a free punch in your face.
Specail Attack 2 also deals decent damage and when successfully executed you have a minion hanging on to your opponent giving you a free shot.

    There is virtually no downside.

    Grandmaster Sub-Zero -
His passive is essentially a regeneration with close to 25% health when he is first taken down. As I try really hard not to deplete my health I find this less than helpful.
His Special Attack 1 can freeze an opponent but I swear it gets blocked constantly. However, it's pretty good and deals decent damage.
His Special Attack 2 (Klone Toss) looks super lame and is downright silly but it hits hard! Not sure if it is a block breaker but seems to do serious damage everytime,

Either one is a good character so it really comes down to your playing style.

I have grandmaster sub, he's a good frontliner for your team. Blocks well, hits hard and has decent specials. No passive team bonus, but that regen come in very handy.

Ugh, so many golden Kenshis...feeling like he is one of the most common goldens, at least for me. Really hoping for Quan Chi, dude looks awesome. The Reanimate Dead teammate ability seems not too shabby either.

I got a Ally: Fujin, God of Wind card that gives 3% bonus energy regen for all Raiden characters. Guessing the Raiden challenge, when it goes live, is going to give us some Raiden cards to collect?

I have character equipment for Johnny Cage, Jacqui Briggs, Kitana, Kano, and Jax Briggs so far. That doesn't count the character specific gear that comes with the starter packs. It's definitely out there.

By far the best card is Covert Ops Cassie Cage. The level 2 special is the hardest hitting of them all, and she comes with 25% block breaking (for her and all covert ops teammates). Give her the shuriken for more block breaking and you can basically melee your way through the game. Cassie Cage is really fast too so you usually get to attack them blocking and the majority of the time you'll successfully combo.

Plus Balanced Kenshi and Tactical Sonya Blade and you have the best team - because both of these characters give +1 starting energy to all covert ops teammates. (Sonya's bonus isn't mentioned in game anywhere.) After using all their level 2 specials right away there isn't much left for Cassie Cage to clean up.

I can't decide between demolition and tactical Sonya though demo gives 30% dmg buff. Kenshi with his blade and Cassie with shuriken both close to 50% black break is op.

Did a quick update over lunch.

Tower Guide now up to Tower 17

I am going to keep trying to add two a day until I get to the end. I did beat the final tower. Also, will not be updating the boss guide until I hit the appropriate tower again. Just easier that way.

Also add a FAQ Section Feel free to submit new ones and I will add as I can.

Last but not least, I am going to try and do a Character Spotlight every week. I'm kicking them off with Inferno Scorpion aka: "The good Scorpion to have"

Just pulled another Oni Kard for my already fusion VII Oni.

Was allowed to sell it for 1440 Koins but would like to see what happens with the gold kards

I finally DL'd this game and played a bit yesterday. I was pretty disappointed coming to the forums after playing.....I was looking at one of the packs that included Sub or Scorp....after finding out fatalities are scripted, that put the nail in the coffin for me.....Too bad....this game had potential but is ultimately a more restrictive experience (with a bigger buy-in) than Injustice. And to find out that the one damn thing that makes MK what it is, is just a cheap gimmick.....that was a kick to the nuts. Rant over, game deleted.

FINALLY! A quality gold card. :) I just recently got a shuriken too, so I made sure to equip that on her. :D
