I beat Reptile first go. Apparently, when my allies were working I had an ally who was level 22 gold and called him in and he annihilated him. After that my allies never worked again and still don't. But I've beaten all bosses so far first go. I had 100 souls and bought another 50 and got Sub Zero Grand Master. So I've only spent $6 so far and beaten both bosses easily. His other ice self move is awesome and almost always wipes out the opponent.
Was able to save up enough souls for my first gold ... Blood God Kotal Kahn. Not the best character but it's a start.
just got a gold card Johnny Cage, and use him as finisher of the top of one tower, but there is no FATALITY, how can I use fatality? thanks in advance
Anyone was able to beat Boss Scorpion? I am coming with one gold (Shaolin Kung Kin) at level 24 and two silvers (Scorpion at 27 and Johnny Cage at 24). Get my ass handed to me every time. The best I can do is take almost have his energy, but he wins every time. Any advice?
I read on the WB forums that he doesn't buff up against a full spec ops team. So try having a full spec ops party.
Tried that but didn't work. He was just as tough vs my spec ops team (Johnny Cage, Sonya and a trooper). Ended up beating him cheap with my original team. First level special attack + combo and repeating (reminded me of how you could beat MK1 using Scorpion + uppercut). Glad to get that out of the way, until the next paywall!
The part about not losing your progress is speculation as generally games like this you don't lose progress cuz it updates. The content part because from what I've read from people is there are some challenges and things still coming soon plus for a couple hours I got the daily challenges diff from bonus missions and they rewarded well and then were gone and from what I've read on other sites there is an update coming to fix some of that. I am. It saying any of it is 100% but I can't figure how I was playing a certain mode and then it's just gone.
Guys just a PSA for anyone just starting out...it's SO much cheaper to fuse bronze cards, and until the fusion prices really drastically go up, they're much more worthwhile and effective than buying silver cards. (At first, of course) liking the game, even the grinding is fun.
Got my first gold, Grandmaster Sub I was hoping for an Outworld to go with my silver Kotal Kahn and Ermac, but since I also have silver Sub I guess it works too. Probably should fuse some support cards to benefit both?
^ I heard it's only possible with Gold characters? Or maybe only against bosses? (The latter would suck...) Anyway nobody seems to know for sure. Grand Sub's decoy is pretty useful, thanks to that I was able to beat Boss Reptile in 2 tries He tagged in and was killed right away by Reptile's second special, I was like "Dang is this happening?" then Sub came back and gleefully pummeled Reptile ~ Kitana's fatality is pretty sick (´･Д･)」
