I think only through bonus missions (only 3 a day), and completing new towers. Redoing a previous tower doesn't get you any new rewards/ souls.

Yeah, the worst part about buying a new silver card is that he will start at level 1 and I will have to grind him up to match my higher level team. I don't care, though... I'd rather assemble a better team than focusing on what I have now. I haven't touched my bronze dudes at all since it's a waste of koins to bother. Soon I will have a team of 2 silvers and 1 gold and I will focus on upgrading them.

So wait do I still buy him? Currently I have 2 Silvers already (both pretty solid but yeah NR should nerf their bosses, this reminds me of the time Injustice first came out. Sinestro was so hard to beat. I got it around eventually. But they changed a few things here.)

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. I caved and bought the $10 souls for a gold pack and got Johnny Cage. With a previous silver Scorpion, and a silver Ermac from a 30K pack, those are my mains. I set the gold card as my champ.

Once they got to level 5, I koin bought their second abilities. I'll use them to push the battle campaign.

For all the bronze characters, I use them while the mains are on cooldown. Figured redoing the easier towers or daily events still gets you coins and account experience.

I dunno if its just me, but as much as I am happy to get this game early, I'd rather have NR release on the same time as the console/pc versions. Cause right now it seems like a public beta with servers not working as well as they should (still can't choose allies or connect to WBID, even after I deleted the game, sighs, I'll just wait for an update, I don't want to restart all over again -_-) Hopefully next week we get an update fixing a few issues (notably servers and crashing) and Hopefully they also release more card packs to buy with (either Gold or Alliance Points). For now I'd suggest don't download it (though it looks like its too late for most of us xD), wait until April 14.

Aside from Daily Events do you know towers where you can grind gold? (Quite similarly to Injustice's Battle 36)

If you're ways out to getting a gold card, it'd probably be good to get that 3rd silver to push through the battle campaign.

Eventually when you do start getting golds, you'll likely focus on buffing them and have silvers start sitting fights out.

Not sure, but I think those daily events give the most gold. I also noticed that they really hit you hard with the energy for those.... 3 ticks for a game! Plus they give no experience.

Nah... I believe its fair. We got a lot of gold, they take away almost (they still leave you with a bar) of your team's energy. Besides each difficulty has only 3 rounds. So I dunno. (Side note: Can you select allies?)

Not just you! It's extremely shitty that the online functionality has been broken since release. I'm enjoying it, but I really wish it was the complete package.

I would be a little wary of ignoring your bronze cards if the challenges are anything like Injustice/Immortals.

Mostly I use the Bronze Cards as filler while I have my silvers solo the lower towers. In fact, instead of buying another silver card, now that I have 3, I bought 3 new bronzes after all just so I could acquire koins a little faster.

That said, I do think the decision to make bronze cards a bunch of jobbers rather than named characters was a mistake. They already get so little respect in other games but in MKX they seem especially pointless.

I noticed that Kano uses Gold instead of Souls. Is he worth saving up? (his ability sucks though, Mercenary: Cutthroat Kano costs less than other gold characters. So is he worth it?)

Just at a glance I wouldn't buy Kano at the expense of having 3 Silver Cards.

Long-term, for having at least a lesser Gold card in my stable? Sure. Right now? Maybe not until I hit some towers with better gold payouts.

He looks tempting but I think my decision to fill out my bronze roster so my 3 silvers could farm koins was a better call. Granted, I was still 70k away from Kano at that point, but the idea of saving up when bronze fillers for soloing or even 3 silvers packs for the same price seems to make more sense.

True! Once I get my gold and another silver, I will bump my bronze dudes to team 2 and use them for koin farming.

Interesting strategy. So you buy bronze characters for you to grind money at lower levels? How's the pay off? Like each Bronze character is around 8k, How long does it take for you to earn that 8k back?

Not that long. The trick is to use a silver character to solo the towers. Can't remember which one it is since the towers aren't marked very well, but I go about as high as I can while still allowing my silver character to take on the entire team by themselves. However, that means I still need to fill up the other two slots, which is where the bronze characters come in.

It's not an insta-payback but it is about the long game. I've been farming the tower right before Reptile with Kitana (gold card) and that has a decent payout. After depleting her energy I do at least one or two silver cards as solo on lower towers. I'm making pretty decent koin right now when I have time to play.

Has anyone lost experience and coins? I just reached profile level 10 (even got the achievement) with about 15k coins, and a few minutes later I was back down to early level 9 with 13k coins. I still have the achievement. :p

Aw crap... that finisher limitations are too friggin disappointing. I guess i'll just play a few more times but would put this on top of the to-delete list if i need the space.
