I wasn't a big fan of Injustice, didn't really play it much. I love MK, so I figured I'd try this out. How do you pull off Fatalities? I've only seen the one in the tutorial. What am I missing? Do I have to unlock them?
Guys I noticed something, for some reason I can't select allies anymore. After playing offline for a while when I connect to the internet It doesn't give me any option to select an ally anymore. PLUS When my profile levels up, only the selected team gets recharged opposed to having all of my characters recharge. AND I don't see any Daily Challenge Towers (or is this feature coming post-launch?)
Most importantly: find a good ally that will deal an extreme attk (xray) I also just kept swapping in and out kitana bc of her perk. I also kept spamming the 2nd power; the 1st is too weak and it takes too long to get the 3rd.
Can any of you tell me what are your characters and their stats for beating Reptile. I got stuck there and I REALLY CAN'T PROGRESS.

You have to block all of his attacks and specials practically and do a lot of quick damage in return.
I've got a similar problem. No allies and no silver coins being awarded. Not getting stamina refreshed too. But I'm playing online so it must be a server problem.
Still can't connect to my account after logging in. ;( Would be nice so I can sync and melt my iPad instead of my phone lol
Does anyone have any tips as to how to beat dvorah in battle 5, tower 2, "map" 3. With the ally system down she's impossible to beat with only silvers (my team is kenshi Lv 21; Ermac Lv 16 and Kano Lv 21. I also have Cassie Cage Lv 11). Any help will be greatly appreciated #

Play offline loading screen fixed. I want to keep it short. The reason you have a long loading screen when playing offline, is because of your friendship list. " it's broken" The way you fix it is by removing any pending request, " et voila" it's fixed. U will not even see the white my loding screen

How the fatalities work. For those who are wondering how to do fatalities, prepare to be disappointed. Fatalities can only be performed in those towers where the game replaces your first character to a gold character that if dies, you lose the match automatically. You'll lose that gold character once you've finished the tower, and no, buying that same gold character from the store won't enable the fatalities. After beating 5 groups of 3 opponents, you get to fight a boss character (e.g. Kano and Reptile) and ONLY THEN will you get to perform a fatality ONLY in that tower. You can't perform fatalities with any character you want. You can only perform fatalities with the characters that tower provided you with. Nope, you can't use fatalities on any opponent, only on SOME, not ALL, of the boss characters. So far, the only boss characters I performed a fatality on are Kano, Reptile, and Kung Jin. That's it! Just the three of them! I too was curious how to perform a fatality until I noticed something. You can't have Scorpion slice Johnny Cage's face off unless the game wants you to. I realized that the fatalities I saw on the livestream involved Kitana killing Reptile and the launch trailer featured Sonya killing Kano with a drone, and that's exactly what some of the towers wanted me to do, and that's what exactly happened. Kitana sliced Reptile into just a pair of fingerless hands and a scalp, Kano dismembered with laser beams from Sonya's drone. Both exact same fatalities on the exact same stage as it is on the livestream and the launch trailer trailer. Fatalities has been literally reduced to short QTE cutscenes to finish off some boss characters on just a few towers. The fatalities promised on the trailer is just a gimmick. UPDATE: I finished the game and I counted how many times you can perform fatalities: 1. Scorpion slices Sub-Zero's face (Tutorial) 2. Sonya destroys Kano with a drone (A challenge tower where you can't let Sonya die) 3. Kitana slices Reptile (A challenge tower where you can't let Kitana die) 4. Quan Chi rips Kung Jin in half (A challenge tower where you can't let Quan Chi die) 5. Kenshi slices Ermac into tiny pieces (A challenge where you still can't let Kenshi die) That's it. No kidding. The fatalities are just for show. Just a gimmick. 5 fatalities with linear characters that you can't change in a single repetitive tower in 7 HOURS OF PLAYTIME. If I were you? Get over this game. This game isn't Mortal Kombat. It's a watered-down version of Injustice. (Yeah, as if Injustice Mobile wasn't already a watered-down version.) Why do I consider it a watered-down version of Injustice? Bronze characters are just a bunch of nobodies, silver characters has a useless third special move, and only GOLD CHARACTERS HAS X-RAY ATTACKS! Also, there are no swiping. Swiping no longer launch heavy attacks. Everything has been replaced with taps and occasional swiping during special moves... And those QTE short cutscenes they call "over-the-top fatalities straight out of the console" This game is HORRIBLE and you'll be BORED IN 10 SECONDS FLAT AFTER THE TUTORIAL! Wait for the REAL Mortal Kombat X to arrive on the consoles or PC instead. It'll be better to rip someone's throat out and shove it down their mouth on the big colorful screen of your TV while you sit on your comfy sofa instead of scratching your iPad screen with taps and swipes.
That's what I thought as well. I don't mind the card collecting, because that's a tried-and-true monetization formula. It is the OTHER part of the game, the actual fighting, is the main downfall. It is so shallow, just random taps in no rhythmic or any pattern will get you the same looking animated combo. It's not even a rock-paper-scissor type either. I was hoping there would be at least high, mid, and low attacks when you tap different areas of the screen, or performing different gestures. The QTE's are ok, but they are so random you'd miss them at least some of the time. I don't think Netherealm will bother to fix this, since it's not really the point of releasing MKX on mobile. It really is for getting a larger, more casual audience through mobile market, and gain some attention and money for the main game.
