That sounds more appealing than “found on a random planet” by several orders of magnitude.

    Thanks for the insight

Can you play on 2 devices? Does it use iCloud to sync games so I can play on my iPad and pick up the same game on my iPhone?

I'm stuck in the mission with the pyramid. After I've talked to the old guy I've scanned the rare plant next to the upgrade machine. Now what? Was he refering to another plant?

Ok - so all you have to do is go to the system marked in green and go to the station that is also green when you get there.

After you get the rare plant, you need to go find the
solar converter that is protected by the tree things
its in the opposite direction of the rare plant. Follow the obelisk to the left of the first one that took you to the crystal guy.
Now at least you have stealth ability!

This game is so great. Was playing last night and lost track of time. So much more than just a go and explore game. Might be the best iOS game i've purchased in a long time. Really good and really impressed.

Thanks! The first time the obelisk didn't move, now I'm good to go.

In the control options, what does “Shoot while targeting” signify?

    Thanks!

if you target something, it will start automatically shooting. Its sort of like 'easy mode' in a way.

Did Jorla feel very empty to you? That one in particular has a lot of stuff going on.
There's also a hidden trinket box somewhere... actually lots of the story planets have hidden trinket boxes.

We don't have cloud save yet - but when the programmer gets back from vacation were going to start looking into it.

Does anyone know if the plants and animals are procedurally generated, or is it just the worlds that are? I'm worried about replay value... is this one of those games that will get boring after I've finished the story campaign? Other than those concerns of mine game looks awesome, great job crescent moon.

Good question. I'd like to know more details about how the worlds and stuff within it are generated. I know Josh said in an earlier post that worlds are made up of randomized pre-determined chunks (paraphrasing-hopefully not butchering it lol) but yeah knowing more about the quests and how flora/fauna is done would be good too.

Also - anyone try out the MFi controls? This sounds like it would be a great game to dust off my old MFi controller for. Should run OK on an ipad air2 I'd guess.

    Ok; thanks again.
Would you pass on the 3D Touch to fire idea? I’m a bit evangelical about it but it makes such a difference in my humble.

This is a more complicated explanation.
Essentially everything is divided into world biomes, sorted by temperature range.
So certain creature types are populated within temperature ranges, for instance you might see a giraffe looking thing in the temperature range 1050-1100. These giraffe things have variations that are randomized. So if you go to a different planet within that temperature range, you'll see a similar type creature but a different variation.
Random planets usually have about 8 types of creatures. Regular animal, Predator, Small animal, extra animal, cave animal, flying animal, insect, fish.
Plants are sort of done the same way, as are rocks and trees. We plan on adding more of everything.
The story took so much time that we didn't get to focus a lot on the random planets. But now we finally can!

Thanks! Really cool how you made this a multi-platform release btw. Now I just need to figure out if I want it on my PS4 or my mobile devices!

All I can ask; much appreciated. I hear it’s not too tough to implement (said the chef; what do I know?).

    DeadHeads did it just right.
