If you get invited by a user do you get invites to give out or do only the original testers get invites to give?
My experience is limited, but when you accept your invitation and create your Google Wave account, you get a new wave in your in-box that gives you 8 invites to distribute. However, sometimes this wave-with-8-invites appears in your in-box immediately, other times it seems to take a day or two to show up. But so far, everyone I've invited has gotten 8 invites to then give out. That said, about a week after I gave out my first 8 invites, Google sent me another 8 to distribute. Not sure if everyone gets more invites to give out after they run through the first 8. And it seems like there are also "super-users" who get more invites to distribute, just based on postings from people with 20 invites to share, etc. Also, it seems like Google is moving through the invites much more quickly these days, which is good for a lot of reasons (if nothing else, because Google Wave is no fun unless you have people to collaborate with <grin>).
I just got 10 more invites. Usually I save these for my developers who don't have wave, but if anyone wants, just PM me.
