From off the top of my head: Rune Ranker, Goblin Sword, and the Cally's Caves series. I'll try to find more if I get a chance.
Platformers with combat? I'll throw in Traps n' Gemstones and Star Knight, then. But Goblin Sword, as mentioned above, is surely the best of the lot.
Emberwind's pretty awesome. It has that warm '90s platformer look, and you soon find yourself double and triple jumping all over the map, unleashing tons of magical power-ups. Very underrated game.
Dust: An Elysian Tale, Goblin Sword, Traps & Gemstones, Adventure Time Game Wizard, and Swordigo. Also, if you like a more platformy and less RPG take, look at the 2 Shadow Blade games and Prince Of Persia Shadow and the Flame. And if you want some arcadey twist, Spell Sword fits the bill really nicely. Have fun with these titles! I love these melee combat-centric platformers.
