My guess? Netflix has a schedule and they’re in the back of the line. I wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix’s recent market troubles have jostled things a bit, too.

That sounds likely, also must be a concern for any dev deciding to go with them. Although after a bit of a break away from gaming coming back to it I can’t help but feel like the iOS gaming market isn’t as good as it use to be. Still seeing some gems but maybe I’m just not as good at discovering them anymore.

I haven’t tried a single “Netflix game” yet, so forgive me for being overwhelmed (pleasantly surprised to be more specific) by the fact the game automatically signed me in without asking (probably using my account from Netflix app already installed on my iPad). It’s a little thing, but it brightened up my day. Just wanted to share this.:)

Wonder if there are any updates in the Netflix version that aren’t in the original one. Guessing progress doesn’t carry over?

It doesn’t. The original had iCloud saving, but it looks like it has been removed in this version.

That sucks. Guess I’ll stick with the original for now.

ouch, not linked to the Netflix account or anything? Always seems a waste of time to me playing a game where I could loose all of my progress at any time.

It’s possible that there is a new system linked through Netflix. But my point is that you can’t access your progress on the old version through iCloud (from what I can tell).

The dev doesn't care of users they are minority like no need to be a Netflix's members?
Why I can't play games even though I bought?
It makes us unbelievable devs selling expensive games.
    I hate this.

Edit: by seeing whole world, non-Netflix users don't have human right? At least for me, no

I also hate this sort of thing, especially when with some of the other Netflix releases, like Townsmen, they've been able to keep the original release on the App Store.

However, I can confirm that you can download the original Moonlighter from your purchase history and it still seems to play just fine, so if you bought it before you should still be able to play it.

@Boardumb if there are guarantees of maintenance it's okay but I feel like I'm playing abandoned games.
That because I just can only download and can't see app page on AppStore of it.

And I saw the next game is Exploding kitten
