EDIT: There ya go. paendamonium Active Member Feb 5, 2014 30 2 8 #8 paendamonium, Nov 18, 2020 I’d love to hear about how the touch controls feel, that was the main thing that held me back from getting Forager (and that it appears many other people had an issue with). ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #9 ste86uk, Nov 18, 2020 Regardless on if the control options are there or not this will be mine when I finish work later. I’ve played a lot of games with touch only controls that worked, often better than virtual controls on screen but I know you never know until you try it and give it some practice like everything in gaming. That said if it was extremely broken and unplayable it’s not hard to get a refund on that basis but I seriously doubt that’ll be the case. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #10 metalcasket, Nov 18, 2020 Oh, here's something I don't think anyone's asked yet... Is the Between Dimensions DLC included? ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #11 ste86uk, Nov 18, 2020 @metalcasket I seen an article that said the iOS version is on par with other versions of the game, so unless it’s a paid dlc I’d guess it’s there? Any way to check in the game? ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #12 ste86uk, Nov 18, 2020 So it’s been a long time since I played this when I got it on the switch when it come out, but I can’t remember how time worked? I won’t get a chance to play tonight it seems but I’m wondering for tomorrow. Is it one where time constantly progresses and you need to be quick or you run out of time to sell/dungeon or explore the town? Or can you take you time and just get a set amount of customers and visit town for as long as you want and the same with dungeons? Other than the slime coming. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #13 Talbs, Nov 18, 2020 Time does constantly progress when you’re in the village world. However, imo, there isn’t such a time pressure to get stuff done as there is in say something like Stardew Valley. I’m pretty sure time progresses as you sell in your shop, however, I’ve always had more than adequate time and always end up ending the day myself. IMO, this game doesn’t go deep enough with things to do such that time is a factor. Generally, when you step in to a dungeon and do a run, it will do one full day or full night by the village world time. So if you go in when it’s light, it will be dark when you come out. But this seems to have little implication. The only thing that the game lets you know of, is that loot can be better at night. I can’t recall but presumably difficulty is also harder at night. That said, I’m not finding this game particularly difficult, at about 4 hours in, no matter if I dungeon at day or night. (I have gripes with the controls though but I’m not talking about that right now). I’ve noticed there is a calendar, and the days obviously move along. I am yet to see any event at all as a result of progressing the days..... IMO, at this point I’m questioning the depth this game offers. The dungeoning and selling and crafting loot cycle is very addictive, that’s for sure, but beyond that, aspects such as time, that you would think will add depth, I’m not seeing it just yet. It’s weird u cant find the joystick option now. Or they meant in the future update? physical controllers are not intended at least for now. That said, it partially supports my ps4 controller. Not fully playable tho. tap controller is not that bad. U will just need some time to get used to it. As a fan of Cat Quest and Vainglory, im happy to see that in the game game revamped: I heard it is not a port from pc or console. Plus it has a shorter stage which is more appropriate for mobile experience . I dont play it on other platforms . So i cant confirm that. ste86uk likes this.
