I think that's a bit of an understatement...

In it's current Moon Drop is pretty similar in the fact that people fall from the sky and you have to direct them to a landing pad (or a boat in Parachute Panic). Comparisons will be made even though they are also different in many ways.

Also Ian what do you think of the idea of a campaign mode as I said before?

I've always shied away from traditional "campaign modes" because they seem to promote the idea that the game is over once you've beaten them. I would seem to go more in the direction of unlockable acievements rather than beatable "levels", but nothing is written in stone yet.

That is what I (at least me) personally meant. Sorry if there was a bit of confusion. They are similar in that you have to direct people falling from the sky to a place to land safely. But this looks different (control wise specially). It was just that PP came to mind when I first saw MoonDrop.

Wow, this looks really cool! The control scheme looks like it will work really well for this game. Very nicely done Ian! I look forward to another one of your highly polished games!

It's these really simple concepts/games that really are a time sink for me. This looks like an absolute blast. Can't wait to give it a shot when it comes out. Any idea when you guys are going to submit it?

Woot! So far in my testing I have gotten up to wave 19, landing all 19 pods at the same time without losing one :)

Game looks good :) NimbleBit is going to become an empire of iPhone/Pod touch devices. I wish other coders would care this much about game play and design maybe then they would be doing better.

So last night I got to wave 21 but accidentally exited the app while trying to take a screenshot. Here is a shot of wave 19. Everyone we've showed the game to so far seems to really enjoy it.
