Where do you get that? #1-100 wins the best prize but you still get cards, tokens and energy competing in the tournaments.
I really enjoy the game so far. I have had no problems competing without spending cash. Great game. cheers
I wish a card wasn't 3$ of 10 for 30$. A bit pricey. It would be nice if we could get better than silver cards from gold packs? Even though it says chance at silver can you obtain better? If not that's a shame. Most slot games allow chances at the best cards granted the chances are slim to none. Knowing that if I farm a ton I still won't find better than silver sucks :/ makes it true pay 2 win. If prices were a bit cheaper I'd consider some cards. If someone does get something better than silver from gold currency packs let me know. I think the context "chance at silver" means that's the highest rarity you can get. No gold or diamond cards can be found.
Sadly, I think my feelings on this mimic Adventure Time: Cards Wars. Fun game, I enjoy the systems, cards and visuals, but the timed tapping to do damage is no good. RNG for card draw? Normal and acceptable. RNG for card-type clashes? OK, sure. RNG for doing more or less damage based on a timed button press? Not cool. That's too many layers of random, and it makes doing well via strategy too unpredictable, especially when facing a much stronger opponent.
^ to bad your limited to how many per day. The timed tap is awesome, it's just like world of warriors. It's really not a big deal. If you have trouble doing these simple executions the game might not be for you. The hit box is generous. Great and amazing do the same damage. Although amazing gives you more of a chance for a crit. I love all the different moves / timed taps for different types of cards. How much damage you do is not RNG I believe. (random number generator). You always do the damage that your card states. Getting amazing just gives you a chance for crit (as I stated before). I've never completely failed a timed tap although I've gotten some bad time taps and it might be 70%? Dmg dealt instead of 100. So it's never really random. You either get yuck, great, or amazing. The numbers are always the same based off the base card dmg. Although on the mega you do more damage the more amazing you get. I also believe that when your opponents card has a weakness to yours, your card gets boosted by 50% of the dmg the opponents card has.
You can turn the battle interactions off - it's a button at the top left. But then your card will only do the damage printed on it (unless you get a critical hit). Card type clashes - if your element beats the card it's against it's damage x2 and cuts the enemy's by half. I don't think any interaction in the game is based off RNG tho'.
This game is super fun. It's not online as "you battle and you wait for other people to play their turn" which makes it almost single player. So far, I only hate the fact that the pack you can purchase are SUPER expensive.. I mean to get to the 10 cards booster I need to pay around 25$... And I don't think 10 cards is that much in this game. Well, I think I will be stuck with the same cards for a looooooong time.
I'm having a hard time with this game. Going Against the easiest enemies and it's just too hard to win. I'm either barely winning or losing. The cards I've been getting are crap. And it takes so many games just to get one draw for a crap card. I love the style but this game would have been better with bigger decks and more card draws.
There's a huge difference between a dev that has innocent problems with English translations and a dev that purposely thinks it's humor to mock that form of broken English. But to each their own I guess.
I never saw that button. Ok... I might give it another shot. I was just using RNG as a stand in for any type of random occurrence. The cards you draw are random, the card clashes are random half the time (you can plan when your opponent goes first, but if they don't, it is random), etc.
So I took another shot today... I think yesterday I was just encountering all the beta testers cities... I've played about 15 matches this morning and won 14 of them. Sorry I blew a gasket... =o/ I dunno if I'll stick with it in the long run, but for now, I'm going to keep playing a bit every day.
I agree. Right now it's too "hard" to get new cards, so you are stuck with the first deck for a long time. (I will continue to play it)
I agree on the card prices... Costs more than hearthstone (a much deeper game with constant updates etc. for $3 in hearthstone you get 10 cards)... Also if a card is in your city deck can you not use it in your monster deck? What if I Have a card in one deck but I want to move it to another?
That is correct, cards are either Monster or City. There are abilities that are specifically Monster or City. From the interview with product manager Chris Viggers on the front page:
^ yeah it must have been beta testing cities because I've been winning all morning. Elements you have to pay close attention to. Very important. You can't use a monster card for your city deck. I do think the devs need to seriously consider making gold currency packs drop cards better than silver. Especially since it's about 150 gold per win. Why farm if you can only get silver out of them? (And even silver is rare). Also consider seriously lowering your prices. As someone said hearthstone is 10 for 3$. This whole 3$ for 1 and 30$ for 10 is quite sad. Half the price of witcher, bloodborne, farcry, last of us, ect for 10 mobile cards? Lawl wut.
Okay thanks, just caught that. I do hope you consider lowering prices though as they're quite steep and I cant imagine anyone paying for the expensive diamond cards with the way they are priced. Ive bought many card packs in hearthstone but I won't spend more than my initiql $3 in this game because it is not a good value whatsoever. It is a fun game though and I will definitely play it for a while to come!
What benefits do I get for buying more monsters for 4,000? Debating buying another monster to play with or buying more cards.
