One thing I'd like would be in the dungeon mode if it took you straight to the dungeon you were up to instead of having to flick through them all each time to get to the end. Only a small thing but thought I'd mention it anyway.
Really enjoying the game~ I have a question about the monster skills. In the battle screen I pressed the small question mark above the skills, and it shows the skills' stats. It doesn't really explain what the stats mean. For my water monster(my only monster that has all skills unlocked), the 2nd skill says "12x1" and "+10% sword". My guess is that "12x1" is the dmg and "+10% sword" means that your damage is increased. I have yet to find out if it adds 12 dmg on the attack, or if it is a multiplier used in dmg calculation. On the other hand, I also dont know if the dmg +10% applies on the current turn or next turn etc (i tried testing a bit, it doesnt seem to be next turn) The higher level skills, for example the 5th one, says "20x2-3" and "-50%sword". If I'm not wrong it seems to use 20 as a dmg modifier and you can hit the enemy 2-3 times and do massive dmg. But I have no clue what the "-50%" means. Im ASSUMING it decreases enemy attack, but usually they die to the huge dmg and I havent tested it. Please shed some light
Thanks for a great game! I haven't lost my last 75-ish or something online battles, just by having a high level electric monster, so it's great that's being balanced in the next update. Here are my main monsters: Gogrilla, Electrifly and Arockne. Next up is Snalien, a snail looking monster. Just need 4k gold and I'll have enough for the Alien type.
From what I gather the -number with a sword means minus to the enemy's damage so they will hit you for less damage. The same with the minus shield, your decreasing there defence number. The plus ones increase you shield and attack power. And the numbers I'm pretty sure you got correct that they do a certain amount of damage for how ever many times they say. So 20x3 would do 3 attacks but I'm not sure if that's 20damage per attack or 20% of your attack per hit of what? The devs pretty active here so he'll probably come along and clear is up.
Sometimes after using the "+sword" spell, my normal attack on the next turn does do slightly higher dmg, but sometimes it doesnt. I cant tell if the higher dmg is because of the dmg increase spell or just the randomness of dmg. (this is when im fighting a monster with the same element, so it wouldnt be due to the elemental dmg increase) Really confused here Also does anyone know how many turns the dmg increase/enemy defense decrease lasts for?
We are going to be choosing the top creation each week. Adding a prize would be great, perfect idea! Totally, we wanted to do that but the implementation ended up being kind of a mess so we held off for now. We're adjusting the high end of the difficulty curve, so players won't be unlocking huge numbers of chapters right off the bat anyway You're almost exactly right. The percentage and sword/shield are attack/defense modifiers. If it's a positive number, it boosts your attack/defense. If it's a negative number, it decreases your opponent's. The "x" number is the number of hits that the attack will do, so 20x2-3 will do a 20 damage hit either 2 or 3 times. Yup, it's getting fixed . Those monsters are really, really cool. I like how, even though each is unique, you have a consistent building style across all three. The stat modifiers are consistent, so any randomness is due to the built-in damage range. The stat increases/decreases last as long as the attack's cooldown.
Scorpio If anyone, has any main scorpion (any attributes) could you post it on the comments. I would like to make a scorpion, shark and a lizard. So far I have a shark and lizard sooo If anyone could make a scorpion and post it. I would be very happy.
Also... Sorry... on my last post I said just scorpion but I would also like to see great attack types, thank you.
join my clan Hey friend if you dont have a clan or you want to play whit me i create a clan the code is TYGUF472 the name is thunderclan
Thanks for the answers~ Armed with such knowledge I feel like I can take on Elec/Aliens with superior tactics One extra question: when you use a stat changing spell, does the dmg from the spell itself get boosted (by your increased attack/enemies' decreased defense)? Also a small suggestion: In the monster building screen, the top right arrows allow you to move the monster, right? It would be awesome if you could add the ability to move the monster up/down also. Now I must return to cleaning my monsters' poop
Haha, nothing can stop you now! The spell damage itself stays the same. Sliding up and down would be pretty useful. This next update is finished, but maybe in the future!
Here is my Illuminati Monster. Called killuninati cause i hate illuminati ! If you see my monster in PVP please KILL IT
Love it! Wow, that is so simple but so clever, I've never seen a pyramid before! Alright, the 1.3 update was submitted yesterday and it's actually already under review. Should be live within a few days at most! • Featured Monster of the Week! Every week we spotlight a new monster for all the world to see. Next week's monster will be "Monkey" by TA's very own oooooomonkey. • Rebalanced rock, electric, and alien types: base stats are the same, but stats no longer scale exponentially with level. This will make for a much more balanced experience, and incentivize players to keep leveling up their entire team rather than relying only on more powerful types. Later chapters will become harder as a result, so players who were far in the game may have to retrace their steps to further level up their monsters. • Gave electric a weakness to rock, and alien a weakness to electric. • You can now add "core" (cube) pieces to your monster in Edit mode, now called Evolve. The caveat is that, once you save your changes, any cubes that were added in the new build session become saved permanently. This prevents players from completely demolishing and rebuilding their monster, which would go against the spirit of the game (and the laws of nature!). Non-cube pieces can be added or removed any time, even after saving. • Added a larger grid to allow higher resolution monsters • Fixed flying monsters not being able to use the pillow in training • Slowed down the happiness drain time, varied drain time between training categories, and made certain drain times scale with monster level. For example, a higher level monster will take longer to get hungry, but will also require more food to fill up. • Added an option for clan admins to kick players. The option only appears in clans created with the 1.3 update, so you will need to create a new clan first if you want kicking controls. Clan progress is always saved, so you can switch over without losing your spot. • Players must attack on their next turn after swapping in a new monster. This prevents endless switching duels. • Fixed exploit that could allow online players to swap in monsters with low health. • Increased difficulty curve in later chapters • Tweaked matchmaking algorithm to make online opponents more balanced when using electric or alien types
