Cool game and 'sequel' to Guncrafter. My only gripe is that the electric and alien types are very much OP. I think a more balanced approach to type weaknesses/strengths like Pokemon would be more beneficial. Currently a lvl 2 alien can pretty much one hit kill level 9s. Also, having sufficient stamina (just enough) doesn't allow you to play modes like online, and prompt you to get more.

It's built, and we're scrambling to wrap up and submit. We're implementing a Featured Monster of the Week menu as well as all of the other improvements and fixes discussed here. This update needs to be throughly tested since it is the last one before the App Store holiday shutdown. We'll be submitting by tomorrow night at the absolute latest. Hey! We discussed the type balancing a bit earlier in the thread, I don't have the number handy but if you page back through you'll see it. Thanks for pointing out the stamina bug, a few people have mentioned it here and it's already fixed and ready to go in the update. It's subtracting 2 stamina per match, as it should, but it's checking for 3 before it lets you start. It's annoying, but don't worry that it's costing you more stamina than advertised
Definitly agree to this! Its too unbalanced. And why does electric and alien have no disadvantages ? Makes no sense. Please balance this quickly.
I'd have to agree, even though my electric poke...... Ahem Monster is kicking ass online, My electric monster is level 16 and it's the only monster I need to use as It kills everything, never lost a match online since I got it. Seems strange that the electric and alien have no weakness. Before I got it online matches were even and I couldn't tell if I would win or lose but now there's no challenge, I just chuckle to myself as I kill anything in my path
And I would say that we REALLY need the Clan Creator to be able to kick people out of the clan. This is the second time I've joined a clan where one member hasn't moved since joining and he's holding everyone back. And there's just 4 of us total this time - so it's not like it was a free for all. Some people get busy and have plans change, so let us boot them if they can't play any more. So far, clans have been a bust. P.S. I think the poop blocks are HILARIOUS! Nice job. Also - there are so many things to like about this game - it's blocky, but not too pixelated. It's fun. It's kept me interested, which is hard since I tend to have ADD with games and abandon them after a day or so. I'm on Chapter 10 with high-level monsters and still interested in playing further. P.P.S. Another suggestion - maybe have some unique surprises in store in the campaign at the higher levels. Things that you can't buy, but can only earn, like special monster add-ons, or tattoos or something without purchase, etc.
Suggestions: - Be able to earn some gold/crystals for free when downloading other games - Upgradable Skills ( with gold ) - Skills have side effects like "burning" "poison" - Buff potions - Be able to learn 1 Skill from another Element - Be able to wear weapons - craft weapons by collecting items in campaign - FUSION monsters - breed monsters - rage mode during fight - new elements which have advantage over electric and alien
Keep in mind this game is not supposed to be like pokemon where all monsters are similarly powerful, all things equal. That model doesn't apply since this isn't a marquee handheld title, taking place in a giant world with hundreds of pre-created monsters. It's an entirely different system with a clear hierarchy of type power, where one of the key achievement milestones is earning the best types and creating unique monsters from those elements. Still, based on the requests, we are doing a few things in this next update: - Adjusting the way the attack/def/health stats of rock, electric, and alien types scale with level. The base stats have increased, but they won't grow exponentially as you level up. This should completely fix the type imbalance that you guys were sensing while still making it easy for new electric/alien monsters to compete alongside your already high-level team. - Giving the alien a disadvantage to electric - Reworking the matchmaking algorithm to give you more even matches when playing with electric or alien types. We already matchmake based on monster strength and the number of monsters in a team, so all this does is factor in the type a bit more than previously Thanks for the kind words! A lot of these are pretty major core changes that are well beyond our roadmap right now, but they'll all go on the request list for consideration . Just some inquiries, sorry if its been asked: - If I pay gold to expand the monster creation board, does it apply to when I create a new monster or only for that monster in which I was editting when I expanded it. - Is there any way to change the core at all? I wanted to expand and "evolve" the shape of my monster but today realised I can't change it at all =(
