I'll try making a quick guide for tigrex on how to move and what not to do just to help Law out. I'll try posting it within 24 hours. Least i could do for ya Law. We barely played so i owe you this atleast. =\
Thanks GDMT! I think I'm just the only one in my own time zone and everyone else is closer together. For instance Tigrex hunting yesterday took place around 5:30 am :/ Anyone free now? Apparently I still have bad luck with meet ups 90% of the time.
Tis really frustrating how others can connect easily and i've been struggling to connect since the beginning.
It's okay, at least you don't suck at this game like I do. Tigrex takes down about 90% of my health with his charge attack so pretty much he one hit kills me everytime. I've died twice because I started spawned right next to him.
Hey Varo I'm gonna call it quits for now. Tigrex is way too strong for me. And the only other mission I want to do is Red Khezu and we've lost to him 3 times in a row already. I'm not confident we can beat him. That guy takes too long to kill (and I don't want to waste your time fighting 40 minutes for nothing) so since I'm not good enough it might be better just to wait for a party of 3. I think LS have a huge disadvantage on fast monsters because LS is more nimble but it has only okay damage and can't block. So if a monster can keep up with my speed / is faster then I'm screwed (like Tigrex - fastest Wyvern in MH). People who are better at timing can use it perfectly but I can't predict Tigrex moves like the best players sadly
LS is probably the third strongest weapon in the game damage dealing wise, and actually deals more damage than even a GS on certain monsters. Tigrex may be the fastest wyvern, but rajang and kirin can be faster than a tigrex. Tigrex's strength is actually with his ability to combo you to death, which other monsters dont do as often as tigrex does. And like all monsters, there is no real predicting what the monster will do, but more with knowing how you will have to react to certain moves, and knowing if you are in the right position to do so.
