That Kirin was a butthole too. That guy basically had the same attack damage of the Khezu except attacked way faster.
Im good for a game tomorrow same time like always. Hope Law could tag along. I'll hell with red khezu or whatever you need. As for the trick with kirin, yeah ive tried that before. Kinda fun too. Its called sleep bombing. Its really effective if its a full group as all members can put bombs making it a total of 8 bombs i believe. Then throw a paintball to detonate it. Really fun to watch kirin fly away lol. Oh and congrats on that red name tag Law!!! Glad you finished Lao. I was about to make a guide vid as well on beating Lao but it seems like you dont need it anymore lol. Congratulations man!
LOL. That sounds hilarious just by reading that. I couldn't find out how to put him to sleep though. I brought sleep herbs to use with the knives but the hut on the snow mountain only gave me paintballs and rations, no knives. I guess you might need a sleep bow or bullets for that. I think it's easier to beat the Kirin on elder quest but it only randomly pops up and he's still a pain because my weapons bounce and he doesn't have a lot of room to attack since he has an area attack like the Khezu... bleh. I need those tails if I ever want to upgrade my same weapon that I've been using for 2 months. lol. My thunder resistant armor did nothing on the Khezu and the Kirin. I wonder if HP+50 is better instead. What time are you normally free? And is Kirin a random mission in HR5? I don't see it. Sherlock said it was mission 22 for him but mine is a Shakalaka gathering quest.
It usually pops up like an elder dragon quest. Finish a normal quest and a new quest pops up. If you want it permanently showing, then finish all your quests. A bit tedious but its worth it. We could try unlocking it tomorrow for ya. Im usually free at 11:00 to 13:00 UTC+9 and 100% free at 01:00 to 02:00 onwards UTC+9. Just google the timeframe since i live in japan and have a shitty work schedule. But its my off tomorrow so im good for 2 days worth of hunting. Where in the states do you live btw?
GS is the fastest way to take down a kirin. SnS sleep bombing is the easiest way, followed by pellet spamming with an HBG.
