You're using bow right? If you have a bow with a Lv3 pierce shot(at least) you should be able to deal enough damage to him for a kill, or a repel at least, like Varo did. But in the bow's case, you should be shooting his back instead. Pierce shots through the fur in his back deals a lot of damage as his back is his true weakness. I loved farming Lao back in the day with a bow, because you can break all his breakable parts (back spikes, each shoulder, and head/horn) for maximum farming efficiency, as each broken part gives additional rewards.

I can help with a few. I'm farming to get Rathoulous Soul armor. Though I'm not sure it's better than what I have. I'll check out that room to see if you're there.
Yeah, gets annoying after a while. Plesy's got limited move sets so you should be able to atleast predict what he will do next. Most of the time he does his water jet attack when you're a couple of feet away from him. But when under him, especially by his legs, he does his hipcheck. Really losing your cool against this guy will really get you killed a lot of times. That's what happened to me before. You just gotta find your inner peace when fighting this damn fish.
Anybody up for some low rank Lao-Shan? (or anything else if we can't beat him), I've already done the village one but I don't think I can deal enough damage to kill him in the guild quest. I'm HR3 but I have High Rank gear (Ceanataur S). Room: 65432 if interested
Anyone out there that can help with dual Tigrex? I can deal with 1... but when they combo. lights out. got traps and flash bombs out the wazoo. I'll be in 555111. Also I can help with lower level quests... think I need higher armor. my Ceanataur S is only at 403.

Wow... I'm never here when the hunts happen. Missed Lao again And I've been complaining about him for a while and Massimus just comes in here and gets it done. fml. I also think I'm the only one from the US time zone here. People usually hunt when I'm asleep, waking up, or whenever I'm busy.
