Combine Snakebee Larva and Firefly to make Goldenfish Bait which will attract only goldenfish. When you go to the fishing site, you can tell if there arent gold fish... Just leave that area, go to the next area and come back and see if there are goldenfish. Then use your goldenfish bait to fish them out.
When I try to go into the multiplayer quest hall, it says 'communication error'. Is anyone else getting this?
Thanks for the help Sandwich. Man those HR3 monsters are brutal. I have no idea how I'm going to beat that Gravi guy or the Ratholos. That Ratholos is scary as hell. He dishes out so much damage it's insane.
For Gravios, when meleeing, it would still be best to carry LBB+ and its materials with you. He's got so much defense until you break his stomach twice. Breaking the stomach is easy peasy with bombs. Ranged classes dont need to break the stomach because they have piercing bullets/arrows which can deal damage directly inside the stomach shell which is Gravios real weakness. It's quite easy to run in, place 2 LBB+, run out, and throw stones or paintballs to trigger the bombs. For rathalos, it's safer to just avoid him and attack him on the head when he lands from flight, or when he shoots a fireball. Other safe openings include him standing up from tripping off his mad dash attack.

Yes. === OMG so frustrated. I spent nearly 40 minutes looking for ONE hermitaur. I killed the Daiymo, then 19 of 20. Then the last hermitaur was freakin hiding in some obscure part of the map. And I was doing this to help some HR1s (who got disconnected) but I wanted to finish the map alone still. Such a waste of time...
I'm pretty sure the save files won't be affected if you install an update with ifunbox and the game is still on your device. But you can copy the save file from document folder and put it back after updating, just to be safe. Pretty much every game that I wanted to back up my save files, yes.

As a hunter, your mind should be set to patience. Patience is one of the main traits to go with. Later in game you'll need quite some patience until a certain monster you're hunting shows up. But while waiting, you can always do other stuff like collecting ressources or similiar stuff. But this time it sounds that you were just unlucky.
