It's all timing and trial and error and a lot of patience. I got it on about the 7th try and boy was I glad I only needed one!

This is my first time playing a Monster Hunter game, and I got right into it. Even though this game is super deep, and challenging, it has a very robust training system that does a good job at teaching you what you need to know.

Judging by your signature, you should be supporting developers that go with option number 2!

I totally agree with you but right now I'm on a limited budget and only have £10.78 on my account with no way of adding more until mid august.

So.. I'm a little cautious before I blow all my money ;)

Yeah, I've never had a game offer me a chance to try every kind of weapon and many quests just in the training part. I feel like I've already gotten half of my money's worth! And I just experienced the Kitchen and Farm areas for the first time.

I'm usually a gamer who loves deep RPGs with long stories, but being the new hunter for this village is enough for this game.

However, I've yet to be able to go on a co-op quest. I'll try to take on a few more single player quests and then see if I can get the co-op to work. Don't know if I was just too inexperienced before or what.

If someone has an issue with certain monsters, crafting certain items or weapon recommendations let me know. I'm by no means a guru, but having sank over 300+ hours at some of the main MH games, I can say I'm quite experienced.

I tried this game on my iPad 4; man the iPad does this game justice. Tried it on my iPod Touch 5; I can't see how anyone can play this on the 4" iPhones/iPod Touches, let alone the 3.5" iPhone 4S. The screen is too small. The next gen iPhones/iPod Touches has to come soon. As it stands, I can only see the iPad Mini as the smallest optimal iDevice for playing MHFU IMO.

Works both ways, but i love playing on the larger screen to appreciate what they have enhanced in terms of visuals as compared to the PSP version's low resolution.
