I posted this over 10 times in this thread already but... I HAVE SOLO'd EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME TIL THE LAST NON-FATALIS BOSS (because i have yet to unlock those).
I've done the same on countless other versions of this game. You can complete this game 100% alone and don't need another person to do anything. The game is entirely more fun with more people but you do NOT need to be online for ANYTHING.
1 hour till I finish work and then I am... SO DOWNLOADING THIS!!! Shout over. Once I have done the tutorial I might need to hook up with u guys as have never played any monster hunter before
I'm also going to play this after work, and for the experienced people of MH, expect lots of questions!
There's so much here in one game! It's a little overwhelming for a newcomer, but completely enjoyable. Great visuals, music & audio, and very well-done controls. It's funny. I was reading about the first MH game on iOS and people said that a release like MH2 would never happen because it couldn't happen. Well, they couldn't be more wrong. This has happened and it plays like a charm. Shoot, I'm even tempted to pick up that first iOS MH game for some quick fun. Anyone else play that one too?
You mean Dynamic Hunting? Well, it's a fun game for sure, but it doesn't play like any other MH game. It's just battles against the monsters, without exploration, and the battles themselves are quite easy. You even get to see the monster's health. Graphics are also on the meh side. IMO Invader Hunter beats MH Dynamic Hunting to the punch.
Guys sorry for confusion. Editing the plist file doesnt work for unknown reasons but you can download the game with iTunes and install it with iFunbox just fine xD Totaly forgot about that. Cheers!
Ok guys, total Monster Hunter noob here, I have a simple question about the time limit in the gathering quests: let's say you have collected the items requested and sent them via the box at the start, if you have spare time, can you continue exploring until the time runs out, or would you fail the mission? Terrible game btw, looking forward to playing with some of you eventually
Had a couple of good runs online and the game is so much more fun in a group. If anyone ever plays with Jacques, a man wearing a Boars head as a helmet, feel free to say hi and hunt with me. I saw you in chat Exact-Psience, but I don't think we were able to get a game up
Same, main reason I'm staying on 7.0.4, no way im going to bother with a Chinese Jb. If there weren't any issues you would think evasion would have been updated by now.
I am looking for some players who want to join me. I am 25 years old and I would like to play with people age 19+. I speak German and English. Skype: motawabrit
There is no 'beating' MH. This game does not end. Yes you can 'beat' this game alone, all by yourself, never online. You are talking hundreds of hours here in order to 'beat' this game. Here's a better way of looking at this game: Picture World of Warcraft or Diablo. You do not not 'beat' WoW/D3, you play the game , you kill monsters, you get better loot, you make new stuff from loot gathered. At no time in any of those games are you 'forced' to group up. Now you are limiting yourself on a small subfraction of the loot and there are some bosses you will never see playing alone but that's your CHOICE. The crafting section along is a web that would make Minecraft players giddy. The gameplay is comparable to God of War or any other action RPG game. The grouping together is your MMO portal. There is a reason there are people with hundreds or thousands of hours on these games and that is because there is so much packed into one small install that it's dizzying when you take a look at it from a 10,000 foot perspective. Go here and look at the depth of this game: http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_Wiki Prepare to be amazed at what $15 get you.
There's a thread in the MMO section for this exact purpose on how to group up with people and use MH's online capability. Let's not clutter this thread with these posts.
How is this game? I have the PSP version on my PS Vita and I was wondering if this version is still worth getting for my iPad 4 even though I have it on my PS Vita. How playable is it on an iPad? Thanks for any input.
I also have it for my PSP and also bought it for my iPhone 4S. MH on the phone, improved graphics (just retina and AA, but that's enough to make a huge difference) and online multiplayer makes it a must have again. IDK about how it plays on the iPad though.
