I guess one good thing about Monster Hunter games is that the complexity is there, but it ramps up slowly. When you start the game, you get some equipment and one of each weapon type, and you can go hunt monsters with that. You pick up all the other things you can do at your own pace. (Although the tutorial will teach you about gathering and crafting right off the bat too, but then, it's optional...)
Hi guys, I made a Public group called "Toucharcade forums" in the MH FU iOS in-game chat loby. Please meet up there with fans of the site We can exchange room codes etc...
Also its great to play on iPad and use your iPhone with the "Lobi" app (official in-game chat app for MH FU). You can better communicate with each other, and its faster.
No, iPad 2 and first gen iPad mini are identical hardware wise. Also the same chipset and ram as iPod touch 5G and iPhone 4S. The reason probably comes down to "we didn't test it so aren't claiming it works" since no hardware reason.
For those who are wondering why the game is not supported on ipad 2 and ipod iPod touch 5th 16g without a camera go to the toucharcade review of the game and see user Nekku answer.
For those of you who are MH vets, what is a better entry into the series, this or MH3U? I would assume MH3U since it's newer, but I wanted to check in here. I already have MH3U on 3DS but I'm more than happy to pick up this game on iOS if it's a better entry into the series for a newbie.
