In my opinion the game gets like 0/10 for story, and 10/10 for gameplay. Which is fine by me. Most games need a little of both to work for me, however this one just nails it so completely for me, that it could be the last game I buy this year. Its that good.

 

This game on iPad with a DualShock 3 is just......omg!.......I know people that will buy an iPad just for this game! That's right! Monster Hunter is a system seller for hardcore gamers. A friend of mine bought his WiiU and 3DS just for Monster Hunter.

Time to start deleting 80% of the games on my iPad. I won't be needing them anymore!

Why is it compatible with iPad Mini but isn't with iPad 2? What the hell?! It can't be downloaded. Is there any workaround like installing with iFunbox? I'm asking for my gf

edit. Nvmnd, figured it out by myself.

 

Insta buy! I just upgraded to a 3DS XL for MH3U. Already own the Wii U version.

Now if only I had more time to actually play the games.

 

xeno get the circle pad pro for xl. it'll make it much more comfortable to hold and to play having two analogs, plus it makes the shoulder buttons actually work. i played 350 hours on my 3ds before i transferred the data to my wiiU to finish. it still plays better on wiiU tho.

 

Hah yes. Sorry my choice of words wasn't the best. It's actually my second XL so I already got the CPP ready. (+ original 3DS/2DS)

 

Also, online play on the WiiU version, with full text and voice chat, which is great for heated battles!! I would play on 3DS during the day, transfer to WiiU and play online with my friends at night. It's a really nice setup. Also, yes, circle pad pro is great for that game.

 

So can anyone tell me why this is good or why I should get it if I've no clue what monster hunter is?

 

i made it to the end of g rank never going online. then i went online and soloed most of the multiplayer levels.

Goodness gratious! It's perfect.
From the refined controls, graphics to gameplay; even the German translation was made with great care and, I guess, a lot of effort.
Damn, this game levels iOS gaming to a new height.
