After I get this installed, we need to find out if room finding is any better. Though I'm not betting on it.. lol. It'd be great if we could find each others rooms instantly. I should be happy at least saves transfer over. I'd feel especially bad for you though I know you could repeat the process blindfolded with one arm

amen the first few quests are simple gathering, or killing a few wimpy guys. soon you'll be hunting giant beasts, who take 20 min or more of pounding away on, but you gotta dodge, and learn their patterns. then right when you think your about to win, the beast runs off, to get some z's and recover their life. you can kill them and carve rare materials off of their corpses, or you can use a trap and tranq bombs, to bring them home alive, for a chance at even larger materials. seriously, this game is the ultimate hunting game. you gotta know your monsters, their moves, where they retreat to. plus by getting enough materials, you make whole new weapons and armors. the whole game is a progression of your character. making armor sets, that give extra skills and abilities. there is no better series. this version, while solid, isn't (in my eyes) the best in the series, 3 brings a lot new to the table, (water battles mainly) and different variations of the beasts, but the formula is still the same. i've had it on my vita and psp forever, but on my phone/ ipad i cant believe it. with controller support too, wow..
anybody tried this on ipad 2? the description says it doesnt support but it does support ipad mini 1st gen.

Work wonderfully, just did a quick gathering quest to test it out. Man everything in English.. yesssss. Btw I noticed they removed the menu music and the NPC talk icons are bright yellow now.
Anyone have an installed size for this game? The previously posted one for the Japanese versions "wrapped" size does not match this versions size so just wanted a little heads up from those who have already hunkered down... I'm clearing my device down to the kb... I need to stop app hoarding!
I'm actually the exact same way as you. It's about 1.1GB installed. In my opinion it's incredible small for such a massive game. Get deleting! You'll probably need about 2ish GB of free space to install.
How can you say this with such a lack of emotion lol? But yeah, I didn't jump but took notice like "oh it's here". Didn't I tell you guys "let's wait til midnight in the US"?

I think this is the highest I've ever paid for an iOS game (meaning that I usually avoid these ranks). Hopefully I wasn't wrong in buying it (I now realize that I also have the game on my Vita, got it free with PS+ a while ago).
