+1 for the savegame transfer. Hope we can transfer the save game file to the english app once released, else it's back to zero. I don't mind stariting a new character for the english version though, but it'd be a ton better to be able to transfer the savegame. I don't wanna do the tigrex urgent quest again with the early gear lol
Just played with this bow user who just stayed in the next area while i was fighting Rathalos 1v1, and then he entered when the kill is done for his carve. Wanted to punch him in real life, so what i did instead was prevent him from carving by hitting him with kicks and lance pokes (i was using a lance).
haha, that's hilarious, i might ask for your gamecenter id when this is released in the west one of my pastimes in monster hunter games have always been getting into brawls with other players i played a fair amount of tri ultimate on 3ds the other day, and the animations were fantastic (my personal favorite was being knocked away from a monster and sliding backwards on your feet as opposed to falling on your face) but i actually preferred the tighter (though less impressive) animations of freedom unite. and uuughhh, the camera controls on the 3ds were just unbearable, even worse than on the psp (i don't use targeting really ever, but they were an absolute necessity on the 3ds, i wasn't crazy about that), the ios port still has the second-most or maybe even the most comfortable control scheme of the monster hunter games i've played (i've also played tri on the wii quite a bit and the controls for that were fine, aside from swinging the wii remote to attack), but i'd imagine the games on the ps2 probably had really nice-feeling controls
There is nothing wrong with the controls on the 3DS version, as they are TOTALLY customizable. I would say they are better than the PSP versions by far. If you want really good controls on the 3DS get the circle pad pro, which is a must for underwater battles anyways. Then you have dual analogs.
That's hilarious. I'm glad you figured out some way of revenge. I probably would have been so pissed and not done anything.
oh, that's pretty rad, i wasn't able to do that since i was just beating a hunt for my sister on her character (i bought her the game for her birthday a few months back and she got stuck), but out of curiosity (so i can give it a shot), what would be a good way to improve the camera controls on the 3ds?
Finally managed to play this online, man it was awesome. I've been playing this since it came out on psp, so its great having it on here. If anyone is down for some hunting let me know
New Zealanders, has the game been released or will we have to guess the next possible date for some Monster Hunter action?
Something mysterious occured. I used to buy quite a lot of iOS games in the past, things I wanted to play and some indie titles I don't cared about, just to support the indie devs. But since Monster Hunter 2nd G was released in the Japanese Appstore, I stopped buying games (except Dragon Quest VIII and two other games) totally. I used to spend a 25€ gift card (or even some more) per month, but that's over. I just completely realized that. The announcement of MHFU spoiled me and I am just waiting for this game, because I know that once this game is released, I won't play anything else for the next months. I am very interesed in Swipe Quest and another game, but I can't get myself to buy it. A while ago, I checked every NZ thread every week, but that's over, too. Seems that the thought of playing MHFU blocked me from every other game. I am even willing to buy an iOS controller for MHFU. Strange stuff.
