hey guys can anyone please help me connect to online gathering hall, because every time i try to connect it says "error communicating server", i've already tried logging in and out in the game center then reinstalling the game a few times and doing hard reset on my ipad 2
you do need to be logged into gamecenter (as far as i know), but you don't need to set up servers through gamecenter (inviting, autoplay, etc.), so i'm not sure. it seems like it works on a server-side lobby-type system, but i'm not sure whether it's p2p. highly doubt it though, since it runs so well, even when connected to four people, and scarcely ever lags. ahh, don't listen to me. i don't know what the hell i'm talking about. but what i can tell you for sure is that you don't need to set up games through gamecenter and multiplayer in this works a lot better than most of the gamecenter-driven games i know about, so i'm inclined to say it isn't. plus, capcom's set up (and shut down ) servers for past monster hunter games, so they might have done that here as well
I looked up the wikia, and the game was released on the 23rd over here in Australia. Do you think I will have to wait an extra day?
Sorry about that, I misread and saw released. So if it's out in austrailia on the 23rd can I use my u.s credit card to purchase it from that store?
No release date has been confirmed. This is speculation coz they may go the anniversary gimmick, but nothing confirmed.
Haha sorry for the confusion- I'm hoping they DO go for the anniversary gimmick, because I really can't wait a month for this. Just to get a new active topic rolling, what is your favourite weapon class and why? Il start- from my experience in MH3, I like the sword and shield. I have just found it hard to settle for anything that doesn't have high manoeuvrability after discovering the infinite combo that let's you dance around the enemy
I was so tired of waiting than I bought a 2ds with MH3U (and accessorily Pokemon X). That game is a blast, I love it and I will get a lot of training for the ios version. I read that MH3U was more accessible to the newbies. The wait is easier now hahaha
Monster Hunter psp titles were more like the older console versions. Very difficult, very unforgiing. The 3ds title was definitely easier, more story and an actual progression to it. This ios title we're waiting on is almost no story, almost complete sandbox in how you approach it. The targeting system should make it a good bit easier than the psp version though.
Or buy the Japanese version and patch it to English. That's what I did, and my kids and I are loving it. Probably show our support by buying the US release as well.
I never used the lock on because it throws me off and I can't even tell which enemies are attacking me from the side. It also makes it harder to dodge when the angles keep flipping.
Always been a great sword main. But im pretty proficient with everything except LBGs. This is Unite, so i'd prolly rank my enjoyment with weapons like: GS Hammer Lance HH SnS HBG LS DS GL LBG In MHP3 I really enjoyed Gunlances and the Switchaxe, as well as the GS of course. Never used DS there much, as well as LBGs and Longswords.
After looking at each, I definitely will try the bow, dual swords and light bowgun. I love maneuvaribility, but also want to try ranged as well. What's the range of the bow and LBG?
