haha, well you know, monster hunters...had me thinking about SOTC, which was sort of monster hunting. I'm easily led.
Same here! Took a few attempts for it to click with me. Defense is just as important in this game as offense, maybe even more.

Yeah i loved both Ico and SotC, and SotC is one of my favorite games ever along side MH, FF7, and Vagrant Story. Would be great to have them on iOS too. @E7: maybe you need to upgrade your lance/sns to improve your match against giadrome? I think you can upgrade once already at that point if you've been mining and gathering stuff.
So (according to Google) apparently starting the game for the first time, doing the training missions and jumping into the Guild Hall quests is not how you're meant to do it... I'm meant to be doing the village leader quests to start off with, am I not?
yep, the elder quests first. somehow, the gathering hall missions are harder since most of them were meant to be played with other people i think
The marathon quests are meant to be party-based missions, but with G-Rank equips it is possible to solo everything. Done it before.
I've been stalling on Elder Quests because I've found more monsters I want to carve in the hall. Though tbh I haven't progressed at all because I'm peeved at the Hermitaur not giving me his damn claws. I wish party rooms would work I need help.

You mean make your own room? I've been able to join without a room code but it usually takes me 10-20 minutes until I find a random room so I usually get bored trying.
