So, is this a bug that affects only certain phones, like plus size? I'm on an iPhone 6 with iOS 10.1.1 and I haven't updated MHFU to this newest update yet, but I've never had a problem with the left button. Mine is working normally.
Thanks for the info everyone. I think it's time to update to iOS 10. [EDIT] Alrighty! My iPhone 5S is now running iOS 10! And I'm VERY happy to report that MHFU works very well. There is no sign of the left-D-pad bug that we've heard so much about. It doesn't matter which part of the left-D-pad I tap - it works fine regardless.
LOL... It means they have no plans of giving us any other MH title since they are still keeping us busy with MHFU. Oh yeah, and this post should be in the MHFU thread.
I think i've hit a wall in the same spot as i did in the psp version HR6 and missions feels like grinds now Farming 25 minutes Fatalis rounds 4-5 times or Ash Lao Shan for rubies is just not my idea of fun and i can only imagine how frustrating g-rank Rathalos will be I'm not complaining mind you, i've gotten 450 hours of gameplay from this version alone which is by far the most i've gotten from any iOS game What other MH versions are worth playing? And does some of the newer versions have more variety in late game?
G-Rathalos is easy. The fact that in MHFU he flies too much means he takes a lot of damage to the head. Should easily take him out within 10-15 minutes with G-rank weapons. But yeah, the Fatalis and Lao runs can wear you out if you want to keep farming them. What i like about this game is that i can farm other monsters instead of grinding one monster over and over. Works for me at least.
Yeehaa!!! HR4!!! I've taken a week or so off from playing MHFU, due to christmas coming around, and other things. Last night I finally got back into it. I have a couple of nasty quests left to do in the HR3 guild quest set, but I managed to get some multiplayer action, and had 3 guys help me take on shen gaoren (urgent quest). The fight was going well, when suddenly one of my helpers dropped out! That was worrying, but we continued slashing away at shen's legs, and dropped him several times for lots of free hits. We got to the fort with very little time left, and I was really worried that the quest would fail. Then, with 2 SECONDS (!!!) left, VICTORY ACHIEVED!!! I couldn't believe it! The game very casually mentioned that I had reached hunter rank 4, and sure enough, the high rank receptionist finally offered me some quests. I've had a try of the first 2 - they are both gathering quests - and the large monster in each is quite a bit tougher than the low-rank versions (giadrome, yian kut-ku), but still pretty easy, thankfully. I've noticed a *lot* of new items when gathering/carving, and this is particularly exciting, as it means new armour/weapons will be available soon! I'm really looking forward to getting stronger equipment and going back to take down kushala daora, as that b@st@rd remains undefeated. Also, hard armour spheres are finally available, as well as a couple of useful farm upgrades. It's been a *long* time since the farm was upgraded! I felt as though I had hit a very strong wall during HR3, but I've knocked that wall down, and am very excited about the game again!
I've been playing the latest version on iOS 10 for several days now, and it has been absolutely fine. Yes, even the left d-pad in menus is good!
YEEHAA!!! HR5!!! Had one person help me repel the Ash Lao Shan Lung. I didn't think we were gonna make it, as the dragon was at the gates with 10 minutes to go! Somehow we kept slashing and shooting and making him stand up (tummy attack time!), which wasted his fort-pounding time. The fort was down to 30% (and I was silently counting down the seconds!) when the screen suddenly said the magic word, "victory!". Oh the joy! Oh the satisfaction! Oh the absolutely disbelief that this game, this ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE, was released by the same company that today pooped out the most appallingly rubbish ports of the classic Mega Man games!
So excited for the Monster Hunter Game coming before March 31st 2017. I wonder if it's a port of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd or a new game.
Ok I found this https://gamerant.com/mega-man-monster-hunter-mobile-games-739/ And looking at the Megaman ports released...
Don't get your hopes up. It's likely the trash F2P monster hunter game that's been soft launched for the better part of a year. It is mostly garbage.
MHP3 could a possibility. Given the set of facts. 1. Last year, Capcom promised 4 games to be released before March 31, 2017. Megaman, Monster Hunter and 2 others 2. Few days ago, the new Megaman game released was actually just a port of its classic games. So its a possibility that the new Game of Monster Hunter is just a port also. 3. MHP3 being a psp game, same as MHFU, it could be a candidate to be ported. Capcom's job is much more easier to port a game than build a new game from the ground. 4. Last Year, MHFU was updated to ios 10, it would be a bad decision for Capcom if it would release MHP3 without updating MHFU But as mentioned above, this could only be a possiblity and they might invest their resources to a F2P.
