Does it use icloud for the saves? Or are the saves stored on the device? I want to know how easy it will be to switch between phone and ipad.
How open is the MH community with the newbies? MH and DQVIII were two games I wanted to play so barely, but I didn't have the console at the time and no I don't like emulator. So, I will be a newbie and I like the online feature. For once, I will be able to cooperate with players instead of fighting them. When the English version is out, I would like to play with some veterans to teach me the ropes at first and to learn more their approach with the monsters. I know that some communities are not as open with the newbies.
To be honest the general MH community is full of elitists. Only a few people i know are willing to help out new players without any intentions of trolling. When Unite hits i'm willing to help people out learn the ropes, and help out in ranking up through the guild quests and help with the farming.
I am not surprised, but I am still pleased to see that some people are willing to help What kind of trolling can I expect? And I will probably do my puppy's eyes to have your help Anyhow, thank you for proposing yourself.
Yeah I've been itching to play with T.A. people but we can never get it to work. We should try it again sometime but I have a feeling the outcome won't change. As of now I haven't completed a single quest with other people.
Full download, no DLC Non jailbroken 5S here on iOS 7.1.1. Changed the language files to english using the patch by MHVuze and installed the app using Apple Configuration ulitility
Yes you can. Conveniently, for Lao Shan Lung and Shen Gaoren whose size are over 6 screens big, you can lock-on to a few key body parts. I like how they implemented it that you still need to aim your strikes rather than doing an auto-aim.
+1 to this. Plays flawlessly on my ipad air, and never had any slowdowns on the 4S either. I abandoned the 4S game though, since i couldnt manage running 2 save files. I hope somehow they implement cloud saving, that would be huge.
I hope Capcom gives us a release date during E3. Knowing when MH is out is much better than it will be out someday.
Depends on which option you are at, i believe the default is the toggle lock-on. The second type is the center-cam. Toggle Lock-On option (Option 1) - Tap the monster icon (not the one with the question mark. The monster needs to be aware of you so you can initiate camera lock-on) on the left. When the icon has a target icon, you can tap and swipe the run button to the left to initiate camera lock-on. You can turn the lock-on off by swiping the run button to the left again, or when you manually adjust the camera. When the monster disappears from view like when it burrows underground, cam lock-on is automatically disengaged. Center-Cam Option (Option 2) - Tap the monster icon to choose your target similar to option 1. Now, when you swipe left on the run icon, the camera will center on the monster, then automatically disengage lock-on. Basically, it just centers the monster on your screen. Off (Option 3) - is exactly what it says it does.
Yeah, count me in and down with that effin' elitism! Happy to share some tips with a newbie or share a few strategies. Everyeffinbody had to start at one point, so no need to climb up on a high horse. Games are meant to be played to have fun and - in my eyes - are not a kind of status symbol. Except for some low-lifes which aren't able to achieve things in real life. A pity, to have to rely on virtual fame. So, rejoice, miroa. There are enough people helping you make your first steps.
