Regarding the unresponsive left arrow button on iOS 10 beta 2, just found out that swiping down on the button "presses" it
This addictive game. Made me go out and buy a 3DS XL with MH Generations. Loving the arts & guild system. ####ing addictive game. Lol. Hope the NX rumors of it using tegra 2 chipset turns out to be true. This game will look sick at the graphic output of that chipset.
Is black gravios armor good low rank gunlance armor?Considering you can also gem it with gunner gems+it gives guard 1 and defense 1.
I prefer an offensive armor like ceanataur! But it depends on your playstyle. I rarely use guard with my gl. Gesendet von meinem SM-N915FY mit Tapatalk
Any tips on using the hunting horn? I really vibe with it for some reason but it's not the easiest weapon to use. None of them are easy, so far it's at least better for me then the bow gun.
Actually Hunting Horns are quite easy to use, just not as strong damage-wise. Super pounds will be your bread and butter. It has innate ESP (you wont bounce at all even if your weapon is dull or the body part you are hitting has high defense). Most monsters are weak in the head for blunt weapons, so aim for that. Eventually you can stun them (hitting monsters in the head does that), and that's where you use the upswing combos to deal the most DPS. As for using the buffs, just maintain 2x W-W or P-P. The rest are mostly for fun or extra utility that may help, but the movespeed buff is essential.
One more question, why is multiplayer not working for me? Anyone else having problems? Or is there really nobody there to play with lol
Check the ingame chat after you get into any empty room. People will be posting room numbers which you can join in, or you can invite them to join your room.
Just completed the low rank full Tigrex gunner armor and bow. The 250ish attack is very helpful in bringing down the baddies
Wow congrats on your success with the bow! I tried the bowgun and it was a massive fail. I just started out but I do hope to learn how to use all of the weapons at some point
Anybody here ever tried to use light bowgun ONLY as a "machine gun",rapid fire only,I mean?Is it efficient and/or fun to do this against bosses?
Yeah I saw some vids of people who killed dual nargas with fire shells in machine gun mode. Never tried it by myself but it looked quite funny! Gesendet von meinem SM-N915FY mit Tapatalk
Hi folks. I bought MHFU pretty much the day it was released on iOS. Played it a bit and found it completely overwhelming. So much to learn, and so different from other games. I went back to it a few months later, played through most of the tutorials, but it still didn't click. Then iOS9 broke the game. I stayed on iOS8 "just in case" I had the courage to try MHFU again... Then Monster Hunter Explore came out (albeit briefly) and I had a tonne o' fun with that. Got a long way into it, then Capcom yanked it. Wasn't happy with Capcom when that happened. But then Capcom fixed MHFU to work with iOS9. *Was* happy with Capcom again. I upgraded to iOS9 shortly after, and then 2 weeks ago I thought that it was about time to give MHFU the attention it apparently deserves. WOW. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! The first few hours were indeed a *very* steep learning curve, but I'm now 22 hours in (which is virtually nothing, I know), and ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT. It's the only game I feel like playing now. When I'm not playing it, I'm planning what to do next in the game, and how to do it. It's in the back of my mind all the time, calling to me, just like all the Souls games did (can't wait for the Dark Souls 3 DLC to hit). Just took down my first kut-ku, then upgraded my GS to a chick decapitator. Really looking forward to trying it, especially now that kut-ku training has unlocked! Anyone still on the fence with this game, or procrastinating like I was... just give it a go. Once it clicks, it's like nothing else! For me, hands down the best game on iOS (and I've tried thousands).
^ Glad you enjoyed it! As far as mobile ports go, it's my favorite game port ever. I actually was similar to you. It took me many hours to click but when it does it's so addictive. And the hunt pretty much never ends - it'll provide you with limitless hours of entertainment forever.
Indeed, I can imagine playing this amazing game for many, many months to come! And I'm *really* looking forward to it!
Damn. I now need to give this another go. Didn't click for me ages ago and haven't touched it since. Got a massive and I mean massive game backlog at the moment so reading this is really promising / aggravating at the same time because I want to give it a go now which means neglecting everything else.
I've been neglecting a number of games since getting into MHFU, but to be honest it doesn't matter, as I don't feel like playing anything else anyway!
