Where is it past Spring?!! I'd be interested in visiting this land... I know in the southern US, there are two seasons... kinda hot, and REALLY hot... but it ain't spring yet.

also E-P, MHXR didn't do it for me. Even though i played Unite only for a while before it was pulled, it felt better than Explore does, even though it has worse graphics.

 

Yeah.. No contest MHFU still better than MHXR, but MHXR is good on its own considering we dont have MHFU available.

 

Honestly, i don't think they'll ever fix the game. #

 

Spring ends on June 22nd I believe. Capcom still has ~1/3rd of the time left in the window they announced for the fix. At least wait until spring actually ends before declaring the spring update dead, friends.

No worries. Spring, like other seasons, is usually marked off by equinoxes and solstices. In the Northern hemisphere, it starts on the March Equinox, which typically occurs in the third week of the month (it was the 20th this year). Spring ends on the June Solstice, which occurs on June 20th this year.

The confusion usually comes from people thinking of seasons meteorologically. That tends to put the end of Spring at the end of May. But companies typically use the astrological seasons because it buys them more time, haha.

 

Woah, this Monster Hunter Stories trailer makes it look pretty ravishing. A plot-driven MH game? It just might work. It BETTER be coming out in the west...

I have mixed feelings about that trailer, but I would definitely play it if I had a 3DS.

I really wish they would bring a Monster Hunter game to the PS4. I have a wife and kids, though, so it's probably a good thing that there isn't one, lol.

 

Well now... Wife just bought me a New 3DS XL and MH4, so I'm finally going to update my phone to IOS 9 since I won't be missing MHFU too much, lol.

 

Awesome wife gift! Love hearing about other wives supporting the gaming. Hopefully your MHFU app will be updateable in a month at most.

 

Yeah, she's awesome. Last year she bought me the limited edition Batman PS4 bundle.

Capcom doesn't want to give a new date until they know for sure, but they'll announce something soon. They apologize to everyone who was looking forward to it.

 

Thanks Shaun. I was looking forward to this. Funny Capcom, i bet JailBreakers have already got the fix out for 9.3, like they had so far.

Oh well. Glad I have a 3DS now, lol. I'm just going to cut my losses with MHFU. If I want to play some MH and I don't have my 3DS on me, I'll just fire up Monster Hunter Explore.

 

I just watched a demo of MH Stories and I'm not that excited for it now. Combat is turn based, so it's just a MH themed jrpg.
