Yup, 9.0 is what broke it. 8.4.3 broke the ability to use programs like iFunbox to access the file system and backup game save data individually, so that's why some folks just say it's been broken since 8.4.1. (I don't know about 8.4.2, it was short lived and I never got it.)
Come on!Fix MHFU and port the full version of Resident evil 4.That's gonna be so awesome. I still have hope though, this game has been making a lot of cash,i mean that if Capcom is fixing Ghost Trick which is older then they are definitely going to fix MHFU at some point. I really want them to fix it and port RE4.Bioshock and RE4 are definitely 2 of my most favorite games of all times (I really love MHFU but I have found it way too recently unlike RE series and Bioshock) I'm still playing that platinum RE4 iphone edition...
Yes,a True RE4 Port it's very Welcome Here, and i Think,i don't know why, that MHFU Will coming Back Fix it For 64 Bit Devices. Why? 1) Capcom Stated in The description of The App Before Pulling it "The Game it's incompatible with iOS 9,and we Have no Plans of Update it,thing this Before Update You're OS " but instead it's that doesn't work only on 64 bit devices. 2)They Pulled It. I thing that they release that 90% of The Users Update to The latest OS,and Lot of new Costumers Purchase it on The new Devices, without reading The app description. due to The fact that The Game have a 14,99 Price Tag,they decided to temporally Pulled For Update it and Fix it.I Hope i'm not Wrong.
Sooo...since MH is now permanently/temporarily unplayable, is there any games like this at all? I've never heard of a game that has the same qualities to it besides dark souls...
There are tons of Monster Hunter knock-offs out there, but nothing really worth playing on iOS. If you loved MHFU a lot, I'd say spend the money to pick up a 3DS or 2DS. There are two Monster Hunter games released on there, and the most recent of the two, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, has online multiplayer. The latest Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter X, is due to hit 3DS in Japan later this month, and it seems likely it will get an English release. Alternatively, you could look to the Vita. It has things like Soul Sacrifice, God Eater, Freedom Wars, and a few others that try to follow in Monster Hunter's footsteps. That would also give you access to a lot of the PSP library, including MHFU (the PSP version lacks built-in online multiplayer sadly). I personally don't feel any of the imitators have come close to Monster Hunter's quality, though, so if I were you, I'd probably go the 3DS route.
As in terms of skilled gameplay. Also I didn't realise before that Dark souls isn't even on iOS lol. Thanks Shaun, I might check those out, but for now are there any iOS alternatives?
The World II Hunting Boss it's similar in play style you fight huge boss monsters it's supposed to have multiplayer but does not and I don't know if it ever will it was kinda cool for a minute.
Nothing close to what MH is in totality, but here are a couple that resemble a bit of MH's mechanics: Invader Hunter IRE To be honest i think i love the IB games and its clones because of its similarity to MH too, where fights are 1v1 mostly, and each fight is about knowing the enemy and making use of attack windows correctly. Only that the IBs are simplified to the core.
Meh...all they have to do is to add 64 bit support to the game...it's simple and I think that they'll do it...I hope...I mean that Christmas with upcoming sales is coming soon so...yeah...
Been watching the MHX demo videos on YouTube. Man I miss playing MHFU on my iPhone. I just realized I haven't even reached the Ukanlos, and the non event Fatalis bros yet Edit: Now watching the MHX full game streams on twitch. Man i wish we can once again play a proper MH game on our iPhones/iPads
Is it possible to get a refund for this? I've tried getting refunds for old purchases but it was a pain and Apple asked for bank receipts and whatnot. This case is different though, has anyone tried?
