Universal MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM UNITE (by CAPCOM)

This game is so fun I can't stop playing it. Only 40 hours in and There's still a million things to do.

 

No matter how far you are there will always be a million things left to do

 

Anyone know how to copy a savegame back to the device while running iOS 8.3? I accidentally deleted MHFU but I have my savegame backed up (used iTunes backup and extracted the file with iExplorer)

 

Not in 8.3... Not until ifunbox or similar programs find a way to get past the 8.3 wall.

 

Aww nooooo. That means i have to replay everything again, or wait for a fix or something

 

I had more than 500 hours back in the psp times. So yes you should have much left to do

 

iOS 8.3 is by far the worst iOS update I've ever seen. Blocking out file sharing is one of the most ridiculous things you can do. I'm all for jailbreaking now that they did that.

 

Jail breaking actually came into mind just to restore my savegame. I'm actually planning to jailbreak, copy back the savegame file, backup, then to a restore to remove the jailbreak but keep the savegame

 

Is there a jailbreak for 8.3 yet? I was looking the other day because other apps are crashing so I thought about updating and jailbreaking again.

 

Not being able to backup my MHFU game save is THE one reason I haven't (and won't) update to 8.3.

Hey, maybe if iTunes let me backup and restore data a from individual apps, I wouldn't need programs like iExplore. Ever think about that, Apple? Huh? Hmm? Huh? *grumpy face*

 

The original monster hunter freedom on psp was one of the biggest gaming loves of my life I put a few hundred hours into it, oh how I remember the days of being unemployed and having that much free time to play.
Sadly I just don't have the time these days to dedicate to monster hunter anymore but it will live on for ever in my memories
One of the greatest games ever made IMO.

 

Thats my reason on moving to droid.. still miss my ios but I'm quite happy with my droid that aside, this block is permanent, so I don't think ifunbox will work anymore.. apple even announce "rootless" starting on ios 9 that will make jailbreak impossible according to them...

 

And definitely the hardest title for psp.
"Four Horns" was absolutely ridiculous.
We had great times with this one

 

There was just something about the first game that had it down to its purest form and not filled up with to much confusing content and monsters.
I never got bored of taking down a rathalos or rathian, or even that huge ass one I can't remember his name but you had to jump on its back and stab away and chop at its legs it was one huge beast of a dragon charging at the castle gates.
Oh man I loved that game I've bought this game for iOS but only played it for a short time because the thought of having to earn all the stuff again like the paint marking armour etc was just to off putting.

Does this have multi player? And so many people play it? Because that might speed things up a bit and might be worth me re downloading it.

And yes this have multiplayer but I don't seem much people playing...

 

Ha! I remember taking four horns back when the GS has no charge attack yet, and the SnS was actually pretty strong.

 

There is actually a decent player base, but getting into their rooms to join them is kinda difficult. Tis always a hit or miss for me whether my game can find theirs online.

 

Yeah SnS was the big hitter

 

Multiplayer for me is good at weird times. Usually late night or on weekends it's pretty good. Nothing like grouping with 3 others and killing a Rathalos in 4 minutes.

 

Yeah and the "chat system" is pretty bad too
