My first mh game and it's really nice. I'm enjoying it. Not my kind of game but it deserves the money especially for the online function and the gamepads compatibility. Played it with dsh4
Lucky for you, monsters in dual-hunts have reduced health. As long as you can catch them in separate areas you should be fine. Bring some flashbombs just in case though.
You guys making me want to play Monster Hunter again. Shame we can't just throw out a room number and join (remember the horror of joining rooms?)
This game indeed has so much value in it even for it's asking price. Especially there is also no much on appstore that is similar to this game. Althou the touch control isnt all that bad here, just some getting used to and you should be good to go. But personally I always prefer actual physical control to get that "console feel". I think this game alone with it's full MFi controller support makes it worth to get one for the best enjoyment (which I already did).
Yeah I was having fun without the control but its way better with it. I have to say if I dont use the control again after this game, it was still worth the price to me. The game is that good. (Who am I kidding though, Im sure I will find other games to use a control with)
I saw that you have been pressing the wrong button of attack. I guess you are just too used to the touch control that you have been playing with previously before you got the controller. It definitely will take you awhile to get use to the new scheme. Personally I am more used to controller as I play a lot on actual portables like Vita / 3DS as well as PS3 / PS4. So for me it does feel right at home when using a controller with this game.
So after about 15 hours of gameplay on my iPhone 6 I decideded to start over on my iPad. Glad I did. Much easier to control now. Noticed something strange though. Sometimes I get a really zoomed in view right behind my character and it's hard to see where I'm going. Not sure how it gets into this view but I haven't found a way to make it go back to the original view while I'm out on a mission. Any ideas?
Maybe you accidentally swiped down. Try swiping the screen. That controls the angle of the character camera.
When backing up your game save, do you guys just make a backup of the savedata.dat file in the documents folder, or do you just backup the entire MH Unite app folder? I'm using iExplore. This is my first time using a program like this to make copies of game save data.
Yeah that's always been a flaw of MH. This happens if there was an obstacle behind your character. Annoying if something like Tigrex's charge throws you into a corner.
Im almost done with the first set of Elder quests, I have the dual gravios (4 horns?) quest left to do to unlock the urgents. Thanks for talking me into that controller too.
