For the basics alone, about 2 hours i think. But MHFU is a learning process. You have to learn when and how to use each of the weapon classes, or at least be really familiar with one weapon class. This isnt your usual hack and slash where you can tank a bit of damage while chugging down potions and trading damage yourself. Even drinking potions effectively and safely needs to be learned. Spotting, creating and taking advantage of monster openings are learned. Watching youtube videos can tell you how to do it, but doing it is another thing. The game is pretty complex, and perhaps the most meaty title in the entire iOS catalogue. For new players, each hunt may take 40 minutes to complete. But take time to learn MHFU, and it is one of the most rewarding games to play.
10 minutes with a really good player on your team and if you can become the 'meatbag'. Usually am a gun lance to deal quick and powerful shot to the monster and take most of the brute while someone with a Great sword starts attacking (varies greatly with animals).
^Not really sure why you'd quote my post in yours, but yeah... Actually, having a good coordinated 4-man team and you can sub 5 almost everything (in g-rank, not including the fatalis trio or the elder dragons) in the game. And contrary to what we "feel" when we hit with wyvern fire, Gunlaces are still one of the weakest weapons in MHFU. The buff GLs received in MHP3 though, made it one of the fastest damage dealers.
Everyone lets make a petition to capcom to port monster hunter tri to ios !! If we are enough maybe we could make them do it
I dont think they could. I heard about some sort of contract that capcom cant cross-platform their MH titles if they have released those into nintendo products.
Wasn't Monster Hunter portable 3rd one of those games that had a translation but never released (like Type 0)?
I only say gunlaunce since it has the high shield of the lance and the gun part is a quick way to evade attaks. Fire the gun and you get pushed back and damage the animal.
This does not have iCloud saving correct? Like to play more on my iPhone 6 but sometimes would like to play on iPad too.
No but at least the save data can be transferred using iFunbox. Not too sure about iOS 8 since they changed the file structure. If it's properly coded, the save data should still be in the same place.
Hm ok so "[Hi]" means it's activated and "[Low]" means it got some skill points but not high enough to be activated. So basically for example if I want the permanent psycho-vision skill, I gotta create 5 psycho-vision decorations since each only gives +2? Assuming the armor doesn't give a base skill. Also I'm having some problems using my bow. It normally has 3 stages of charging, but I noticed that if I wear some different armor sets, the bow will only have 2 stages of charging, the third stage with the glowing red tip doesn't activate, why is this? I'm not sure what properties of certain armors is affecting this. Also, none of the arrow coatings with effects (paint, sleep, paralyze, poison etc) seem to work. For example if I hit a boss with paint coating arrows, it doesn't mark it on the map at all. Am I doing something wrong?
Wooo, you guys are missing out on MH4U. Easily the best yet, with more monsters from Gen 1 and 2 rather than 3. Oh, and the multiplayer is killer. Still super impressed by this port, if only I had an MFi controller so I could enjoy playing it more
Having a [Low] version of the skill means you activated an inferior version of the skill. The high means it's upgraded. For example, there's Atk Up Low, Med and Hi. But that's an easy one to understand. Some skills have more effects into their higher version. For example, Psychic Vision. At 10 points, you activate the skill Detect, which will tell you if the monster has or hasnt spotted you. But, you still have to tag the monster with a paintball to see the effect. Having 15 points in Psychic Vision, will grant you Autotracker, which automatically spots the monster anywhere on the map without having to use paintballs. Anothjer example would be the carving skill. At 10 points, it activates Carving Iron Man, which makes carving uninterrupted when hit by small attacks like vespoid stings. At 20 points, it activates Carving Celebrity which gives you an additional carve from each monster/tail.
Intabought the second english version came out, still havent played it. I am not new to the game but havent played in years and years, have pretty much forgotten how to play. First: Should I stick to iphone, or ipad? Second: whats a good weapon to start with. is that horn one only good for multiplater or does it work for solo play as well. what are say the top/best 3 weapons.
