Considering the fact that this already was released in the US and leaked Capcom paper indicate a worldwide release later, highly possible that this will arrive Worldwide.
Yep, 99.9% an english version will come out. Only question is when. IIRC, Dragon Quest 8 also was previously released as JP only but it already had english localized files. So a rough estimate would be to compare the number of months from the JP version of that game up to this month.
Cool! Grats! I just got into the 4star quests by the elder and just found out that the guild quests were the REAL deal lol. So am just doing both now, hoping i can increase my HR this weekend
Is it just me or are the monsters in guild quests a lot tougher? It took me almost 40mins to take down the Daimyo Hermitaur, also with the Cephalos. I can't bring down the Congalala coz i always run out of time. I'm taking the 3 star quests btw
I believe they are supposed to be tougher. However I just killed the Daimyo Hermitaur but it was from the 1st star area and that only took a while because he kept running away. I would guess they get more HP as you go higher in rank.
Yup... Low rank guild monsters are a little tougher than the Elder quests, and guild high rank is a little tougher than the felyne elder quests. G-rank is a whole new level of holy-crap-everything-OHKOs-me.
Ahh I want to upgrade the Katana but it needs those Machalite ores that are so freakin rare. I have 4 of 15 and that hasn't increased at all over the past 3 hours :\
Lol i had that problem too a few days ago. I only needed 1 more, farmed for more than an hour but nada, even farmed the volcano region for it. I got them from the Pokke farm although it is still quite uncommon. Am on 4 star quests with the elder now and i tried fighting the Kushala Daora. Man that thing is on a whole new level of ZOMGWTFBBQ! Is that thing an Elder Dragon?
Yeah it is haha. I think if you use a dragon weapon to break its horns the wind stops or if you poison it the wind stops. Also for Machalite, don't go looking for it, do quests and just bring a Pick Axe with you to all of them, when you see a spot, mine it. when you're done with the quest, go to pokke farm and mine all the areas you have open. i have over 80 j just chilling there cause the darn kirin wont give me thunder tails so i cant upgrade to devil slicer.
For Daora you can break the head parts with just raw damage to turn his wind aura off completely. Yup... Poison stops the wind aura only when he is poisoned though. Daora is weak in the head, and is easy coz you can stagger lock her.
Just killed the Daimyo Hermitaur 3star guild quest. It's really easier with other people. Hoping to team up with other TA users though
Yeah I can never get my online to work :\ Btw, I've been fighting the Hermitaur and read you have to break his claws to get the claw item (to make the rest of his armor) but I only got Sharp Claws which apparently isn't the right item. So do I need to keep hitting? I saw the inside of his claw but maybe it needs to be damaged more?
^Sometimes i see people online, sometimes i dont. As for Hermitaur, you'd be able to see his white flesh showing when a chunk of his claw shell breaks off. For better chances at Hermitaur claws you can break both claws. Use shock traps to give oyu time to wail on his claws. Alternatively, you can use sonic bombs when he is "shielding himself" with his claws.
What i did was backup my savegame, delete the app, then reinstall the patched app bought at the JP app store using the Apple configuration utlility then recopy back my savegame data. This was done on my non jailbroken iPhone 5S
Do I need to cut deeper? Honestly I've been doing this for 3 hours and only been getting shells and sharp claws. I'm guessing I haven't fully cut his claws yet. It's so hard to stand to the front and hit him because he always moves and often leaves his claws in the air so they're hard to hit :\ I wish I had some help. -- On another note I did get online to work finally but most of the time people leave the rooms or there are "greyed out" names which I don't know what that means. I did get into one game but I got kicked (though it might have been my internet connection since it was way later in the hunt).
^Nope that's the broken claw right there. EDIT: Just checked the carve guide, requires both claws to break to get Hermitaur claws.
Thanks for checking for me! Gah that means I wasted my last few hours I have a medium strength weapon and he dies before I can destroy the other claw. And crabs get annoying. His deep dive attack and backing up / side swiping are super irritating. His range is just so big. I pretty much need my Felyne all the time or else he'd always face me. -- Edit: Maybe the lvl 1 Daiymo doesn't drop it. Destroyed both claws and still only got sharp.. great...
