I believe Kushala is the earliest armor set that gives Focus (short charge) which is. 5 star granny quest and HR4 I think. I would recommend Stamina early on as you can get it fairly easily from doing the granny quest in 3 star for Green Plesioth. Being able to hold charges for longer and roll without using most of your stamina is great early on as you get used to the weapon and monster patterns. Later on, I have personnally gone for skills that increase damage which helps make fights shorter. Although I haven't done much high level yet but I am leaning towards ear plugs. It sucks getting stunned by a scream and then being unable to do anything while a monster plows you down. But an armor set with earplugs won't be available until later if I recall. Hopefully Edmillian chimes in as it seems like he's up pretty high. Monster Hunter wiki has the armor low level lists which is helpful.
Sorry for being slightly off-topic but I think this is the best place to ask this. is there an android version of this coming? I can't find it on the googleplay store I did buy it at launch for my ipad but I can't handle the touch controls and since I got an nvidia tablet and controller for Xmas, it would be ideal to play on that but it doesn't seem to exist? is it coming?
Since the game's title is MHFU for iOS, I honestly don't know if they'll be making an android version ie MHFU for Android. You can drop the devs an email or a tweet or something
Does Capcom make games for Android? It's been a while since I have looked at Google Play, but I don't recall seeing any Capcom games there.
Licensing issue.. Capcom doesn't release its major games on android outside japan.. Even in japan, its major game released on android is just a few..
Yep, when asked about android version, capcom rep Yuri Araujo just answered "it's not that simple" so I can conclude that android version will never come... http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/thread/view/7371/30299737/monster-hunter-freedom-unite-for-android?post_id=540387113 http://www.capcom-unity.com/dubindoh/blog/2014/07/05/5-awesome-things-about-monster-hunter-freedom-unite-for-ios
I do feel for the Android users. This is one not to miss. Knowing the next MH game is coming to 3DS is almost reason enough to just get the 3DS. So, I can definitely say, if you can afford an iPod or iPad, this game is well worth the purchase alone.
Well android's got a ton of emulators. I think they can still run this game using one although it won't be that optimized
So i made a decicion, and my GOTY had to be MHFU despite me wanting to pick an indie title. Couldnt resist the hold MHFU has on me.
Hi I have a noob question. How to send the signal to your team when you find the monster? I just can't find the button. Been playing solo until HR6. But man multiplayer is much more fun!
For someone who is obsessed with the series and has played this one to death solo I've got a few questions. For someone who has played MHFU on PSP or Vita how well are the touch controls to get use to? The game relies on precision so I'm just wondering how well one is able to act or react while playing with the touch controls. Next how is the online community? Does the game have Cloud saves? I've put over 1000 hours in the PSP version and I'd hate to do something similar on iOS only to lose my sale file.
When you open the menu while in a mission, there is the beacon tab at the bottom of the screen right beside map zoom.
If you've been gaming on the idevice it should come naturally. The best thing that is in the iOS version is that the controls are pretty solid for a ported title. I've easily dumped 600 hours on the iOS version now, and stll working on farming the fatalis trio. There are always people online playing that you can play with. About 60k active users based on the chatroom. Joining into rooms can get iffy, but once you join the room, it's usually flawless from there. The game doesnt have cloud save, but you can easily backup the documents folder through ifunbox or any other file manager.
Thanks. I'll take the plunge I guess. Finally get to play online at least. I had MH3U on 3DS and Wii U but didn't really know anyone with a Wii U I could play online with.
