Buying it for friends... Basically when you gift an app to a friend, you pay for it and apple sends a promo code to their email.
I got a 6 plus, so I can finally play this one. The only MH game I've played before was Tri on the Wii and I loved it, so I've been itching to give this one a try. Downloading it right now!
Gifting an app just means you pay for it and someone else gets it. You enter the receiver's email and they get a message that says you gifted them an app, they tap it, and it takes them to the App Store to download it.
I think you can do the vespoid queen quest qithout taking poison bombs with you as she gives them as rewards as well. But since she requires you kill around 30 vespoids might as well use poison bombs. In your case, just lather you arrows with poison and use the arrow slash move. That should inflict poison without killing the vespoids. Sadly these are the most effective way of getting them.
Ayt thanks EP. Will try doing that. But maan that drop rate for those essences are really low. I farmed the G rank vespoid queen quest 2x and yielded only 3. 2 as reward, one from carving the queen. The vespoids mostly just gave razor wings, etc
Yeah the drop rates can SOMETIMES go against you ALWAYS. Im kinda struggling with Lao Shan Heavenlies myself. Takes a whole 30 mins for one hunt for a 4% (iirc) chance of getting a lao hesvenly scale. And im also missing a few fatalis wings from each of the trio. Fighting fatalis can get really tiresome when going solo.
Im pretty sure eventually you'd be better than i am when soloing any of the Fatalis. I havent really improved since the PSP days im still greedy with attacks as ever. LOL
Oh man... I've only played a little bit of this, but I'm already in love. I was a bit skeptical on how this would translate to virtual controls, but wow! They did a really good job with it. I'm still thinking of picking up an mfi controller at some point, though, but I'm pretty happy with the controls as they are.
Starting from scratch is a pain, but I've chosen the bow this time, and I'm enjoying the change in play style Unfortunately, nobody wants to play with me because I'm HR 1 :/ I also find the 'aim with the line' feature with the bow to be a bit hard to control, and more trouble than it's worth. Should I just 'hip' fire the bow?
^ I can't give you any tips. I suck major balls with ranged weapons in MHFU. I can't figure out how to aim accurately then move quickly. I only used the bow to cheap kill one of the monsters in the cave because I was getting destroyed by him Imo, I think MHFU should have got GOTY. Originally I was saying it shouldn't be because ports shouldn't be considered in mobile GOTY since it just seems like a different category. However since I saw ports were included in the runner ups, then it's all fair game. MHFU should've won
Nah... MH titles are the perfect definition of "love it or loathe it" games. I know people who played the first few missions suddenly finding themselves getting over 500 hours from it a few weeks later, and people who tried to get into MH but couldnt. It is one of my ost favorite titles ever, and MHFU iOS is easily my GOTY, but i dont think its gameplay appeals to everyone, which is why i dont think it'll win the polls. My view of a GOTY has to include appeal and playability/accessibility, in which MH kinda falls short at.
Yes and no. Mostly you just aim and fire your arrows but against some monsters like shen and lao, also the Vespoid queen, you have to manually aim it
But the winner of GOTY is exactly that type of game. It's just a bit easier but there's way less stuff to do and you probably will die more in that game than in MH imo (until you hit the end game monsters). I don't really find Wayward to be that accessible even though i liked it. A lot of the comments on the game seem to say the same thing. If Wayward can win them MHFU is way better.
Personally, I really didn't like Wayward souls and games with pixels that scream 8bit hehe. Well i mean it's still nostalgia and all but well... It's a personal preference i guess.
What armor should I get that compliments the bow? They all seem to give 'pellet up' and stuff, which I have no idea what that stuff is, considering I've never touched the ranged weapons in the series, but I'm fairly sure it's for the bowguns. I teamed up with some people online and managed to kill a shogun ceanataur with my puny woollen jumper I began with XD
