The iOS version has quite a few online people playing, but isn't the Vita version just local multiplayer?

Then, if i don't want play multiplayer, and want to play with gamepad, Vita version are better than iPad Mini?

And if i choose iPad Mini 1 version, framerate is it good? And how is touchscreen vs gamepad?

I love the touch screen personally. Best controls in any action game I've played. But I know a lot of people who bought a Bluetooth controller to use with their iPad. I've never tried the Vita version.

Decided to stop frittering away my hard-earned on minorpieces and finally plump for a masterpiece. Been playing and dreaming about this the last few days; it really is the best game on IOS bar none. I didn't think games could be this deep.

Tried a few different weps and I reckon I'm a light bowgunman for the foreseeable future. Just about to craft the Angel Parasol.

Played first online game last night with random user and it was fun! Is there friendly fire in online cause I think I may have killed my partner who subsequently quit. Sorry to user hhhhhhh (sp).

Is there etiquette for bow users? Like online should I just aim for the monster or try and help knock the monster down by aiming at legs?

Can you change your online name also? I thought I read something about that before entering the hall.

Also Village Elder so much easier for solo play. Kept running out of time on 3 star Plesioth in Hall but was able to finish no problem in 3 star Village Elder.

What weapon did you use for Plesioth? I'm sure I can eventually get him, Im just curious what you did that made it faster. I attempted it a few times with the assault conga lbg, but it kept taking way too long, I figured I'd try and farm the umbrella...

I used Sonic Bow I. I was just saying that Village Elder quest Plesioth was easier to kill for me than Guild Hall quest Plesioth. Got my Plesioth armor. Runner skill for bow user is awesome!

Video link is to different game.

Mobile youtube is odd. It won't change the url sometimes even if I like on a link. I even refreshed to make sure it was the same url and it loaded the correct video. Sorry about that. I'm pretty sure this is the right link.

The bow and bowgun will not damage team but hitting other players with shots will cancel evades and blocks leaving them open to attack from sneaky monster. Maybe you indirectly caused quitters death or kept hitting him during battle enough to annoy!

Bow etiquette will vary with type of shot fired and what your teammates are doing. Consistent damage is most important thing, aiming for breaking parts is always a good idea though.

You can change your name in lobbi app but not the game.

Are pellets a big no-no in online multiplayer? I'm still mostly focusing on the old coot quests right now. I actually think I'm in the minority who (at least after forty hours play) prefers going solo. I know exactly what I'm doing and what methods I'm going to use. Online (for a relative noob such as I) seems more of a scramble. Only downside is there's no volume bar for that screeching bloody cat. In fact, that might be the only flaw in an otherwise purrfect game.

Yeah pellet shat can be a nightmare for melee players to deal with. Especially with light bowgun, rapid fire pellet shot will pretty much nullify movement. Big monster where you can aim away from hunters is ok, but small to medium stick to other types of shot if with a melee team.

Online with a good team is magical, with average or poor team it's a chore. Solo is easier in many ways as it's easier to predict actions of monster when it targets less people. Sometimes I leave cat behind for solo quests as I find especially Raths I find way easier solo and has bonus of silencing annoying cat!

^Pellet shots are ok if you are with the right allies. GS and LS wont be affected as much, especially when you know when to shoot the pellet shots. Most LS and GS attacks arent interrupted by pellet shots, so what you need to do is wait for the start of their attack animation and fire a couple pellet shots. Make sure you dont shoot when they are done attacking though, coz you can interrupt their roll which can get fatal.

But yeah, as a general rule, dont use pellet shots in multiplayer. Normal S 2 is the best ammo to use in multiplayer, then the element shots. And if your gun can shoot paralyze bullets, just do so. Your team will love you for that.
