Universal MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM UNITE (by CAPCOM)

I'm using the PS3 w/ jailbreak for this game and I love it. I agree about being a lil cramped on the phone (my hands just feel too big for everything I'm trying to do).

I play now almost exclusively on my iPad mini retina w/ the PS3 remote. This has been the best video game experience I've had since FF7 came out.

 

I just started getting into this and Monster Hunter in general. I have to say that I'm only just beginning but I'm really enjoying what this has to offer.

 

I main lance ever since headlocking on original. Headlock was just so satisfying....

Thanks chaos_envoys. Yes Exact-Pscience, Love the skills with this armor and it ain't too bad on the eyes.

 

Now if I can just get pass this G*** level Diablos so I can strip it of its parts I can try a new suit.

G*** Black Diablos is just so damn fast and powerful....been pissing me off all day, lol.

 

Was facing an iodrome and and almost couldn't find it in the grass when I was gonna carve XD

And also, what's a good set for Kushala? I tried my normal set but I keep getting knocked back by the wind

 

^ you need a really rare skill to negate Kushalas wind, so I would suggest either breaking her head or cutting her tail, both of which will permanently stop her aura (even if you only repel her, the next quest she will still be hurt/everything as it was)

 

Ty I'll give it a try. Only problem is that when you go for the head, if she uses the ...wind thing... Then I'm vulnerable to other attacks. I'll try the tail. Other option could be to bow the quest but that would mean less attack and my armor set sucks lol.

 

you can try poisoning kushala too. That will shut off the wind aura for the duration of the poison.

If you hit here with a bow while her wind aura is up your arrows get deflected and hit you. No damage, but you get flinched setting you up for some hurt.

Just time your attacks to be right after she fires a wind projectile. Land it on the head. She has the aura off when she uses this attack. Just dont get greedy with attacks so you can get out before the wind aura comes back up.

She will fall over from a few head hits coz she has a very low stagger limit from headshots. Staggering her turns off her aura for a significant amount of time.

 

Also flash bombs work wonders as she can't use her wind barrier while stunned
