"[MHFU iOS] Transferring saves from iPad to iPhone/iPod Touch For anyone who bought this game and wants to be able to transfer their save file between devices, I finally found a way to accomplish this! It does not require Jailbreak and can be done with a normal/stock device. Download iFunbox - http://www.i-funbox.com/ Attach both devices to your PC or Mac that has iFunbox installed. Open iFunbox. Make sure both devices appear in the dropdown menu that's across the top of the program window and on the right side. Select the device that has the save file. Click "Managing App Data" and find your MHFU program. Click on the Documents folder and you should see a file named "savedata.dat". Click on this file and click "Copy to PC" on the menu on the top of the window. Save the file in a location on your computer that you'll remember, as you need it in the next step. Close out the Managing App data window by clicking on the X in the upper right corner of the current window. Switch to the device that you want to copy the save file to. Repeat step 3 above but instead of "Copy to PC" select "Copy from PC". Find your savedata.dat file and copy to your device's Documents folder. Enjoy the game on your other device! "

Killed him over 20 times with mix of capture and kill and breaking fin and still no Cephalos Fin drop. Oh well. Working through HR 1 2 Star Quests now. Still enjoying the game. Have Cephalos Legging and Waist armor piece, and Leather armor for gauntlet, plate and head along with 5 Hunger decorations to get the Hunger armor skill.
Just let it be known that GUILD HALL star 1 and 2 quests don't drop the rarer materials from bosses. If you want the fin you will have to beat either a village quest or a guild hall quest (that is greater than 2 stars)
Lol not going to see that anytime soon or ever. Especially when Capcom just recently signed a contract with Nintendo for making MH exclusive to their console/devices.
Yeah, the more I think about it, the less I like the crossover content. I mean, I loved those games on the NES, but it just feels less authentic to the theme of Monster Hunter. But yeah, after realizing I'm getting close to 100 hours on this iOS version, and I haven't even gotten half way done with all of the quests and training, I have much more game to play in MHFU! So, I guess I can do without a Nintendo console for another year.
I hear ya...I'm ok without the crossover, but I'd love to see another MH on iOS. For the $15 I've spent in this game and the almost 300 hours I've logged...yeah, I'd say it's been waaaaay worth it.
+1 Hope they port over 3 portable. I wouldn't mind hunting that wolf wyvern on my iPhone. And yep, with XCOM 2nd, this game has definitely stolen a lot of my free time. But who's complaining lol

I use a PS3 controller with MH. I didn't have to change any of the setting, all defaults and they work perfectly. Camera, aiming item selecting and all.
