^ lol don't get me wrong! I'm not exactly professional- I definitely like armor skills. However as a hammer user myself, I can tell you that earplugs is actually one of the best skills available since there is no block (Pros would prefer evade+ to roll but that's crazy). I have HR ceanataur and garuga armor and they're early good, yes, but that's no reason to dismiss other sets. With speed eating you don't have to wait for the perfect moment to eat, a good moment will suffice. And that guy who died had probably gemed in something that had benefits that outweighed the negative skills on his armor set.
Well.. lets end this as... use whatever you like using LOL rolling out of roar just sounds funny when you think about it. Next time someone shouts at me I'll roll away and say I wasn't effected because I was out of their range I can't roll normally thanks to using Narga armor exclusively now. I am roll deficient.
Even as a semi-pro (if that isn't being too arrogant lol) hunter myself, I don't prefer evade as a hammer user. One of the best hammer sets (and most common) in G rank is RA2, HGE, S+1 I only dismiss speed eating because that implies that you get hit... A LOT. The only time I can see speed eating being useful is when you wanna save someone from yama's vortex. But what bothers me the most is when people say they want tigrex armor, they are looking at defense. Defense in MH.... especially MHFU, is quite pointless unless you are looking at a huge difference. Armor in this game is paper. Everything in G rank will 1-3 shot you anyway. Perhaps I can excuse the use of tigrex in high rank, but as soon as you hit G, there is little excuse as to why one should not be using akanotor/azure los/ceana mixes..... even high rank azure los lasted me in hr7.
welp, better to play with people who can communicate and gain experience together whether they are new or pros. But pugging is just bad... too many hackers and troll armor sets.
You know there was this annoying guy who'd always hit me while I was HELPING him on a quest. He was the same HR as me. Then a few days later I find someone with the same username but naked and at low HR. He didn't carve animals or nothing and acted like a pro. In actuality the guy sucked without his armor (even more so than before).
its an incomplete one, yes, but he shouldn't wear it until its complete xD.... at least have a set with skills rather than wear a half baked set.
Lol maybe they were going for elemental resistances, or slots, which is funny because they haven't used them
Maybe they just thought it looked cool.. Pretty much all the clothes you wear in real life are "mix and match" anyways
Early on in the game some people just like the higher defense, even if they have an imcoplete set. But wearing an incomplete set with -30 defense is pretty tard. LOL
Did you guys know that if you wear a full set of denim in real life you get the skill -30 Social Standing?!
