When you try to join a room that doesnt exist, choose the "no" (or maybe it said exit, not sure) option and then the room will automatically be created. you'll know you're in the right room coz the room name on the upper right will say something like Gathering Hall [9900], as it says on mine.

I made a quest too at gathering hall no condition, quest is 2 stars. Pass is 9900. Can yiu guys see it at the quest board?
Im thinking maybe since we're english patched maybe we cant join? Another possibility is that we are outside of Japan. Problem with this theory is that i've seen other players in the lobby.

Yep i was with 3 other people an hour ago killing the Khezu, and around 15mins ago with another guy named Q. We tried to kill the Daimyo hermitaur but well...
Who picks the missions when you play with other people? And did you pick your level or any level? I can never find anyone at lower levels. And if one person carves a monster, the others can't have what he carved? So do people rush to carve monsters? Edit: HR 1~3, no one. No conditions, no one....
You can request a quest, just get one from the 3 ladies on the left. Then the quest will appear on the quest board, other players in the hall can choose to do your quest or other quests which were requested
Just hit Hunter Rank 6. I hate it when 2 tigrexes are in the same area with you. EDIT: Now i need to start with Black Graviosa and Black Diablos on the road to G-rank, and those 2 are ultimately annoying, especially since i use mostly greatswords and hammers. Urgh. Im gonna call it a day, get some sleep and see if i can hit G-rank tonight. I hope someone figures out the multiplayer online dilemma we're having. Cheers TA!
Multiplayer solution For those who have problems with multiplayer make sure you aren't in sandbox mode, because if you are in sandbox mode you can only play with others sandbox mode players. This happen to me and my brothers that don't have jailbreak. The solution was install the jailbreak on the iPad of my brother and delete the app then reinstall it, and now he isn't in sandbox mode and we can play together. P.D. Argh.. well I'm jailbroken and I don't believe I'm in sandbox. I'm going to try again now. Btw Edsmilan, are people online seemingly friendly? I assume if I ever find a match, everyone will be WAY stronger than I. I would hate to be playing with people that don't want me there since I'm still at HR1.
Ugh... Not a good sign. Killed Black Diablos in high rank in a little less than 33 minutes. Either im getting a bit too rusty, or i need to farm materials for better equips. And what's GC sandbox? I jailbroke my ipad coz of the patch. EDIT: And i just spent 42 minutes killing black gravios
Sandbox Mode is used to test GC on a game/app that's in development, but some Cydia tweaks may enable it by mistake. Logging out and in should be enough to return to normal GC.
