We should work on that together. I'm stuck on HR8 as well. We can do it! The big screen will save us.
Hey guys, It's been a while that I follow this thread now and MhfU is my first Monster Hunter. So far i'm only 30 hours into it, mainly doing the Elder Village Quests and therefor i'm still hunter rank 1. I am enjoying the game (although i don't play as much as you guys) but i'm often a little sad about the online guild hall. I saw some of you planning to play online but you're often way more into the game than i am and nearly everytime that i start an online game with an other low rank hunter he leaves after a while and it hardly comes to a real hunt. I'm just asking myself whether there are other newbies like me who enjoy hunting together (i'm in Europe for the time zone)? PS. I know there is the tavern but I couldn't find that much low rank guys there Anyways thanks for all the guides that has been made here, really helped me out so far

At some point Kylie87 was willing to play regularly but I have not heard from him lately. I hope you find someone to play with in a regular manner. Due to online connectivity being what it is, my own experience was rather frustrating; at least as frustrating as playing with anonymous players. I had browsed through the Lobi groups back when I was looking for beginners. The MH:FU beginner group was rather popular but I did not like that it was littered with requests from people coming and going. It is nice that you've found helpful hunters there. I don't know about where you are now Zazzy but I suppose BombenBob will get help from you or other members of the MH:FU beginners group. @BombenBob: if you need help do not hesitate to post in the Tavern. I'll gladly join
Post in our thread (in the addcode section) and I have alerts ready. So if I'm free / awake, I can help you out for usually between 1-2 hours depending on the time of day. There are others there too. TA is a great place to get special help.. heck I have trouble even finding random parties to join because of bad room searching. Btw guys, drew this up on my iphone a while ago!

Finally! Took me a few weeks of trying, but finally bagged my first Khezu. I think it's time to work on upgrading my S&S to a higher Fire attack so I can upgrade my armor to that Khezu set. There goes the next few weeks!
I haven't played this game for a bit now due to life happening. Started playing it again and it instantly reminded me of my first few times i played a monster hunter game. Anyway, got up to HR 3 i think, and working some more on the village elder quests now. If i get some better stuff i might start playing online alot more. And that drawing is awesome, and i know just the person to show this picture
