http://mhios.chatango.com/ I made a group chat using chatango that works on iOS/Android/PC for those who are on the go or would like to communicate real-time. Feel free to use it We had some folks come and go, hopefully this could benefit us.
Hey, I have a question for all of you. Are there anyone here that still game on an iPhone 4? I'm just lonely.
^ What do you mean? You can play online with anyone as long as you can get online. The device doesn't matter.
My strategy was to paint them both, as soon as I enraged one I went and found the other, attacked them until they were enraged, etc. It saves you from taking massive damage when you get hit with a tail or something when they're enraged and therefore you can go on the offensive more to kill them more quickly. But yeah. High rank is very unforgiving.
You don't know how I feel. It is much more complicated than that. Hey, wait a second! I think I used to explain to you how MHFU runs on an iPhone 4. Do you remember that post? Or maybe you skipped it? Anyway, I never tried to play online with random peoples. I only play with my brother. He uses iPad 3. When fighting in a laggy place while playing with my brother, the situation become much more intense. Monsters gained the ability to TELEPORT!
For veteran MHFU for iOS : I know that you all has created many high-end equipment with overpowered weapons, has made it into HR 9 and has tackled all of the monsters. So.....what do you guys do now? Help newbies? Grind "that" monster with friends only for sports, like those hunters in Youtube. When they killed a Shen Gaoren, they don't carve anything from it. They just wave at each other and tried to kill each other.
I mean, I'm almost at 200 hours in and I still don't consider myself a veteran. I'm still on high rank elder quests, trying to get Ankator armor before I move on to G-rank. I highly doubt I'll ever reach the point where there's nothing left in mhfu for me to do. As it is, I've mainly used a longsword through the entire game, dabbling with hammers, duals, and bows occasionally as well. I have yet to touch bowguns, lances, and the greatsword. I will have a good time returning to high rank or even some of the low-rank quests to learn to play with different weapons, and to make armor sets that complement their abilities well. I can easily see myself hitting 500 hours before I feel like I'm completely finished with the game. It's much more likely that I'll just move on to something else before that point. TLDR; I'm never going to beat this game. Ever.
Not yet at HR9, currently still HR8 but even if you reach HR9, there are still monsters that are extra powerful at that level namely the Ukanlos and the Fatalis brothers
Yeah I've been putting HR9 on hold until I can get a group together and we can all do it together. It's still all fresh and fun for me I also enjoy helping lower ranks out because that's what everyone else did for me. And once you get started helping, it's hard to stop since it feels good using your hard earned equipment to open a can of whoop on some of those uglies. @Myq: Hmm.. I think I recall? Sorry I'm not good with names and your name is especially hard to read lol. Ever thought of upgrading? If you bought the i4 a while ago you should have an upgrade available? Or get the 4S. They're pretty decently priced now. The expensive stuff is the i5 and i6 models. Or get the ipod touch 5G which is pretty much a 4S/5. I've been playing all my games on that for the past 3 years and it's done most of the games good.
I haven't upgrade my old iPhone because I bought the iPhone 4 some days after its release, and while it has a very expensive price. After that day, I vow to never replace my iPhone unless it got broke at a point where the iPhone cannot function at all . As for the post I mentioned, I'll try to search it in the endless dungeon of the forum.
Finally gave in, I'll be getting the 6 tomorrow. Was supposed to pick one up a while ago but the store ran out of stock so they reserved one for me and it'll arrive in-store tomorrow
Man, where's the 6 plus love?!?! I will admit that it is almost too big, but load up a game or a video and those fears just melt away in big screen bliss. Checked battery usage and MHFU is almost 50% of the usage.
Dude it's perfect. Trust me. Once you look at the screen size you can't even go back. I don't recommend the new mini mini ipad but I'm sure some people like it. The iphone 6 is still good enough to hold easily in your hand and doesn't feel bulky. MHFU is one of the best games to play on here because it doesn't even need to be optimized to look sharp. It also feels like I have a handheld console now (actually I use my iphone like an ipod touch anyways). When you get it, message me or post on the board to tell me how it is. If you don't like it I'll be astonished. What color btw? I got space grey because I love the black front side. I think the + has more of a special audience than the regular audience. There were mixed reviews when people got them as many wanted returns. NOT saying it's bad but it's harder to get used to. And since it's so big people who have it may prefer having a mini (no joke).
Nekoht's quests unlocked Took me long enough but I've now unlocked the Nekoht's quests! Had to: the Four Horns quest was somewhat difficult (had to switch to a thunder element weapon). The Shen gaoren urgent quest was somehow a surprise: Spoiler did not expect a different map layout. And Spoiler the hypnocatrice quest was fun. Now I'm back to helping HR1 players
Congratulation for getting access to Nekoht's quest! You think the Four Horns quest is somewhat difficult? Wait until you get to the urgent quest of the 7 star quest, it's somewhat impossible (Just kidding).
Sup man... Im curious to know if you have bought games that are priced around $1 or $2 before, at least totalling $15, that you arent really playing anymore? Coz if you do, you'd probably spend $15 on play-and-forget $1 or $2 games in the near future too, and more after that, in which this $15-game you could spend time on would be worth so much more. MH is totally worth it, and ten-fold more.
@Lawliet Dude i finally got the 6 and wow it's kinda big. I guess I'll get used to it but it's beautiful! One problem i have though, I'm still in a no wifi zone! I can't redownload my larger than 100mb apps, and that includes all my games! NOOOOOO! And to think i just sold my MacBook Air a day ago, and just reset my 5S (going to my wife when i get home).... Dammit! This sucks. I gotta go look for a place with good wifi. At present, I'm on 3G...weak 1mb 3g speeds :'(
^ Well, good thing you didn't get the Plus then. Plus is heavier as well.. Get a nice case for the iphone6 and it'll be perfect. Don't worry, after a couple days, your iphone5 (or which one you had before) is going to look like a midget. I can't even look at my ipod now without feeling like it's too tiny. Trust me it'll grow on you. Go to McDonalds or Starbucks. They have decent wifi. Actually, really depends on the location. You need to at least get MH back. That game will last you forever if you could only keep one game in your phone. PS: Once you play MHFU, you'll think the screen size isn't big but perfect Save up. It's worth about 50, $1 games. Maybe more
