Since my upgrade wasn't ready for an iphone6+, I treated myself to an iPad mini Retina that was on sale at Bestbuy to remedy my big screen envy.... ....MAN this game looks absolutely awesome on an iPad!
drooool. But I doubt it. I THINK the game is already doing well so I bet they really aren't going to bother doing anything else to this. Btw, did you guys see the screenshots for the new MH4U? How come they look so pixellated? The iOS version looks ridiculously sharp compared to the 3DS??
Hadn't looked close enough to tell the pixelation but I hope this game does very well so they'd port MH4U over to iOS.
The 3DS has a much lower resolution compared to newer iPhones, the 3DD has s resolution roughly around 3GS so 480p. They use AA like the PSP originally did so it doesn't look as bad in game.
There seems to be a 30 FPS cap on all iOS devices so no 60 FPS (benchmarked a html5 browser test but it could only be for safari). There doesn't seem to be any need for metal since it works so smoothly on the 4s and capcom will not enhance or add new graphic on a port.
I don't know why but Psp version has more blood than ios version, it'd be nice to have that effects on ios.
Yeah, I've seen some videos of this game with more blood and was like wth? Read that it had something to do with the censorship in relation to how much blood could be shown in the western version. Be nice to have an option though.
No it doesnt. The videos you see in youtube on the PSP with lots of blood is a tweak. What you see in MHFU iOS is exactly how it is on the PSP without the blood tweak.
The developers are the ones who decide the FPS. Street Fighter 4 Volt runs at 20 FPS, Modern Combat 4 at 30 FPS and Shadowgun at 60 FPS. And I'm quite sure that this game runs at somewhere between 30 and 60 FPS.
I'm fairly certain the Japanese version of the game had the crazy blood, and it was toned down for the western release. It's a shame really, the larger blood animations made it immediately apparent if you were hitting a monster where you should be. Hit it in an area where it isn't weak to your particular weapon and there'd only be a small spurt, weaker areas would give the large spurts and critical hits were large with a different colour.
