With how much new players the iOS version has invited in the online rooms, i find it's actually harder fighting monsters than doing it solo. Not to crow here or anything, but generally, I can take on most monsters a lot faster solo, than in multiplayer, unless at least one member dedicates himself into using flash bombs and laying down traps consistently. The only one i am pretty sure can die faster are Lao and Shen, but some player never stop hitting them when not in the final area which actually makes the monster flee instead of kill. LOL There were a few times i got paired up with good players though, where we both did our parts well in taking down monsters quickly.

Ok guys any strat for diablos, the demon king quest been trying to defeat him for two days now, there's a lot of cursin and frustration because of this piece of sheet.btw my armor is narga s and blango destructor, used every weapon I'm comfortable using (hbg,ds,SnS,hm)still no use always get killed or run out of time. I heard this diablos is like g rank is it true? should I pass on him for now? I've watch mazareon's vid using gl but I'm a fail on gl.thanks in advance & sorry for my English.
I don't think I'm one of these guys === Random comment but me and my 2 friends got to do the LAST play against the Gore on the last day of PAX. It was epic. And we all failed. Originally we had a group of 3 and the staff said that one staff could play with us who's really good and helped someone else win (he's a beast horn user - the best support you can get). Based on the power Gore dishes out, Horns are probably one of the best weapons you can have if you're efficient. Sadly one girl really wanted to play (came by right as we were going to start) so we let her join us instead of the staff. She was NOT bad at all. But picking her over a horn / staff member / person who has beaten the Gore multiple times is madness. Plus, the staff increased the time to 20 minutes instead of 15. It was pretty damn generous and I feel like we wasted our chance. We actually lost in maybe 7 minutes but the hall didn't close yet so the staff was kind enough to let us play again. And to top it off, all the staff watched us (plus some passerbys) on the big screen and the staff were CHEERING US ON! It felt epic! They were yelling at us to win. I loved every second and even when we failed, I just laughed. Apparently, the Gore OHKO every single member with a body slam. I had about 80-90% health and I guess I died instantly according to my friend. All in all, it was really really fun plaing MH4U six times at PAX (lol), but I do regret how kind my friend was to let that girl play. I was totally against it even though she was cute and smiley but he said we should let her in. I still can't get over it. How often do you get a chance to add a staff member who is also a horn user into your party to beat the ultimate monster?? I feel like I really missed out..
The almost-g-ranked version is the One-Horned Demon, but it's listed in the high rank quests, and in Nekoht's quests. This Diablos only has 1 horn from the start of the mission. Look for Mazereon's HBG video instead since you use HBG. HBG's are the most efficient way to kill diablos, black diablos, monoblos, or white monoblos. Use pellet3 shots and shoot the tail. You dont even have to aim coz pellet shots home-in to the tail automatically as long as your general direction is facing his tail. Dont get greedy with your attacks, and use the "shield upgrade." Always block his roars with your shield, and only reload when he's either started turning, or after you blocked a roar, or when he's flinching. When he digs, wait for the last of his tail is about to burrow completely, then roll to the left directly, then roll 45-degrees to the left-forward angle, or to the right, then 45-degrees to the right-forward angle. His tail should then be ready to be hit when he pops out from underground. Distancing is easier when you have Evade Inc skill (Narga armor). For skills, i recommend evade inc and pellet up. Low recoil and faster reload are pretty good too.

It's the lets-get-rich women that you marry though, so at least you can buy all the games you want If you've heard of Lord Grahf (huge MH contributor since the first MH, until he flipped (who doesnt in gamefaqs? )), back then his girlfriend was Inkoseh, another MH player, and a really pretty one at that too. Not sure if they are still together though. Inko's chibi MH artwork is kinda famous in the internets. She's the one who does the MH comic strips.
LOL. Well in my defense she had a boyfriend. We got used. haha. She was like "can I play with you guys pleeeeeeassssseeeeeeeeeeeeee" and my friend is like "sure what the hell." * me facepalming * And my cosplayer MH friends are probably just as good if not better and they're abnormally attractive People take pictures of them even when they're not in cosplay and they get hit on all the time. I'll play with them once I get a 3DS lol. I still imagine how epic it would have been to get a Capcom staff and him leading us to the final victory in PAX Prime. My glory days are over. Time for retirement Monster Hunter.
Yes.. I still have echoes of that facepalm in my memory. I'm going to complain about this every time I see him from now on lol. Btw I got my first Affinity weapon in MHFU! Never had one before and I got the highest one (Narga weapons). It's my new favorite weapon with affinity at 50%. I love all the red flashes on the screen. Can your teammates see them too? I think the Narga longsword also looks extremely cool. And another side note I HATE THAT STUPID CAT THAT WALKS AROUND ON THE FIELD! Stay in one damn place. Better yet, stay out of the fields! JEEZUZ. Every time I try to get my plants the cat just walks in the way and is like "HEYYA BUDDY MEOW YOU WANNA TALK TO ME?" and I'm like "F U GO AWAY" and then he goes "MEOW MEOW MEOW" and I go "LET ME FRKIN PLANT ALREADY" and he goes "MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW" and then I say "GO TO HELL CAT!!" and run away.
Omg I hate the cat too. I don't even use the fields anymore because I ran out of dung. Even if I had dung I wouldn't use it though because it just takes too much time to get everything. I just send trenya away, collect honey, and sometimes mine at my best mining spot. Because I don't use the scrub mining spots anymore I actually ran out of iron ore. IRON ORE.
Lol no way! I have too much of that machalite ore and iron. And I remember begging the game to give me machalite. I do hate feeling forced to grab everything after a round. I stopped fishing obviously but everything else still takes a long time, mainly the planting because the cat makes it a freakin obstacle course. Actually the rarest material for me is stone. How the hell can I get that?? I read the granny sells it but she hasn't put it in her inventory the last 10 times I've checked. And I don't wanna go on some junk runs to net me 5-10 stones a run. That's just crazy. It's a freakin rock. I should be able to blow up that mining wall and make 1 million stones with that.
You can get stone fairly easily in the first mining spots. Lol I remember it took me ages to get 10 machalite ore for one of the early weapons
Initiate quest mountain herb picking from Grannie go to area 6 there is a gathering spot near the entrance of the 7th area that has infinite stones so you can collect 99 stones at one run.
Thanks I'll try hbg with shield, I almost kill him using gl (ice) but he keeps on digging and running away when he is on rage mode so I always run out of time.should I trap him when he move so fast? is that a sign that he can be captured?
