It's pretty good in multiplayer, and ok when going solo. Problem with bows is that the damage output is still mid-tier, and when you are forced to go defensive a few times in a run, you are going to spend so much time for each mission. They are pretty safe though, and should still be able to kill all monsters solo despite being a little slower than most melee classes.
Woohoo!! Just killed a Rathian with the Bone Katana Dragon! This marks the first time I ACTUALLY used an LS to kill an actual monster. I need 20 minutes to kill it, though.

^Thunder element isnt exactly the optimal element to use against khezu, but eager cleaver does a fine job dealing damage Congrats on the kill!
Yeah I know but beacuse I'm lacking other weapons atm I thought: "Hell why not..." at least the RAW damage is better than on my Iron Katana Gospel.
Can trenya get Narga brainstems? I need 2 and it's hard farming the Narga especially with a low drop rate of the item

Online gathering hall problem Has anyone been experiencing problems joining other people's room? In the past few days I could join 1 out of 4 rooms that I attempted to enter. Now, as of today I cannot join any room. I ALWAYS end up alone in a room with the same number as the other person recruiting in the chat channel. Also as of today if I start my own room and recruit, no one can join my room. It's extremely frustrating. I've already downloaded the new update, but that hasn't fixed the problem. By the way there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I'm wondering if it has to do with the game server and if others are experiencing this.
What would be a good weapon to fight him EP? I would have thought that any elemental weapon with water or ice would be good - is that correct?

Oh okay. Never thought that "Thunders" weakness is fire but okay. Just searched for a good fire LS and I'm a little concerned as I don't have access to any of the needed materials...damn. =/

I'm having a problem with the game crashing each time I try the "Slay the Lunastra" 5 star Elder Quest. I've done this quest a few times before the update without any problems, but now whenever I meet the Lunastra, the game crashes around 30 seconds later. It seems to happen when he does a particular roar. (a corrupt sound file maybe?) I've tried rebooting my iPad but it still happens every time. I've played for over 120 hours and didn't have a single crash prior to the update, so it seems like something has gone wrong since then.
The controls have been well thought out someone at capcom should get a pat on the back for that. Kinda reminiscent of ps2 controls where you used analogue joystick. They have compacted the controls in an elegant and functional manner which gives you full control without filling the screen with a lot of buttons. I would say its worth the premium if you enjoy monster hunter. (With the caveat that if you struggle with touchscreen on other games then you will still here).
Aieeee that's what I feared when I saw update was out. Up till now I've not had any issues... In fact I'd say virtually flawless. Maybe I'll hold out for a bit...
