Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girl gamers, I humbly present my extensive and lengthy list of SECRET* GATHERING SPOTS inside the Forest and Hills**! 1. In area 9, halfway through the death tunnel (if you have to ask why it's called the death tunnel, you've obviously never been in it with a rathian) there is a small tunnel that leads to a SUPER SECRET*** bug catching spot that frequently yields godbugs. Read the footnotes for an extra handy tip that will make your gathering quick and easy (this tip may or may not be more useful than the rest of the post)! 2. At the top of area 9 (geographically) are MANY BUSHES****. Hidden in one of these bushes is an EXTRAORDINARY MUSHROOM GATHERING POINT! No more killing mosswine for select mushrooms, with this gathering point your crap little gathering quests will be OVER IN MINUTES! 3. Have you ever lost something? Has a melynx stolen your favourite paintball? Say no more, for you can get your AMAZING***** paintball back easily (although it takes about 3 minutes to run there)! Just go to the conveniently placed****** area 12 and steal your precious, useless shit back! 4. This spot is so secret, I'm going to use spoilers. This is the gathering spot the devs DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW!******* Spoiler Remember the top-secret gathering point at area 12 that only 1 in 10 hunters know about? To the right of that is an amazingly well-hidden tree root that, when climbed, moved around, or expertly walked over, leads you to the developers PRIVATE BUG GATHERING POINT********! 5. Possibly the most least-known gathering spots in the Forest and Hills is the DUNG GATHERING SPOT! At this simply OUTSTANDINGLY conveniently placed piece of shit in area 1 you can gather a few handfuls of shit so you can get your shitty little cat-slave********* to fertilise your shit plants with this top-quality shit at your shitty farm**********! I hope you have enjoyed reading my TOP FIVE GATHERING POINTS and that it makes your gathering lifestyle better than ever before! *these areas are actually known by most players. **note to CAPCOM: a bunch of ledges and a massive cliff does not make 'hills'. ***rolling through these small caves is much faster than crawling. ****there are about 2 or three bushes. *****dont worry about your paintball. It's not worth it, in fact, it's not worth anything- I have 2 stacks of paintballs that I got for free, just by saving them from each quest like the tight-ass scrub that I am. ******area 12 is the area furthest from from your base camp. *******I don't think the devs give a shit if you know about it or not. ********this gathering spot is neither owned by the devs nor private. *********all felyne workers are paid a full wage, and all items received from the farm are stamped with the Fairtrade logo **********I think the farm is actually quite picturesque. Also, apologies for the language. This post is actually a big joke that I made using Internet marketing techniques, but I hope I made some fellow hunters smile none-the-less
Dragon element is NOT, I repeat, NOT required to break any part kushala daora. Also, severing it's tail will negate it's wind aura as well.
On my first attempt I started in the middle area of the map so I didn't have enough time to go back to the area next to the base, so I could only deal a bit of damage to the second Tigrex before the other one appeared, and like I said before, they spent a lot of time together in that try. On my second attempt I was lucky enough to start on the area next to the base, so I used both kind of traps to deal the most damage I could to that Tigrex. Then since I didn't cut his tail I couldn't recognize that Tigrex so I may have damaged both a bit more. They didn't spend that much time together like on my first try. I made the first one run away to the Giaprey's nest and killed him with a lvl3, then I went after the other one and he killed me, but when I returned to that area he wasn't there anymore. It turned out that he was already tripping. I went to the nest again (and spent some time telling which one was defeated and which one was sleeping), and killed him. No flash bombs were used.
Hey guys I'm on the fence about this game. This forum being so active thought I'd come ask a couple of questions. After doing a forum search I couldn't find a concrete answer as to if this game runs well on iPad mini first gen. Does it lag stutter or freeze up at all? Secondly I was wondering if there is much to do for the casual player? Lots of content in his game I assume?
Just picked up a 3ds xl and mh3u due to my love for this, but the fact that this kills my phone and burns my fingertips. Thanks capcom for sucking my money away, you're the best
Cant help you with your iPad mini question. I'll preface my following comments by saying I own the PSP version of the game. I'm presuming the iOS version is the exact copy of it. There are several things to do in this game. Lots of weapon classes to choose from. Swing a sword around, mush a monsters face with a hammer, poke and stab with a Lance, or shoot everything up with a bowgun. There are a variety of monsters to fight, from something as small as your character to something else that covers the entire screen. It really shines whenever you play online. Its always fun hunting with someone else However, I also encourage you to hunt on your own as well. Its very satisfying once you say, kill a G Ranked Teostra or a White Fatalis flying solo. Note that theres a high learning curve and it can get frustrating at times. But you will get better as you fight different monsters and learn from your mistakes. I put well over 1500 hrs in the game and this was my first MH game I ever played. Buy it and enjoy!
1500 hours? My goodness that is a tall order for an iOS game. I'm amazed it has that much to do. Thank you for the information. =^) guess I won't worry about stuff to do. Now I'll just have to do more research of the iPad mini first gen situation.
Please drop by and tell us what you think of the game after you've played it. The beginning has a deep learning curve but you'll grow used to it fairly quickly with the training missions. Stick with it. Tips are on the 2nd post of the thread! Happy hunting
Anyone have tips for first-time Elder High Rank hunters like me? Recommended armor and weapon? I'm a GS user and uses GS only.
Any armor with high defense are good.. Preferably rath soul with HGE or Rathalos X with attack up large and damage recovery +1 are good too.. About GS, I recommend using Pael Keizah, a great dragon attribute GS.. Keep hitting the elder dragon head, and they will stagger
Pael Keizah? I think I won't be getting that because I'm still 7* and just upgraded my Valkyrie Blade to Titernia, and I'm too lazy to upgrade another Golem Blade. Thanks for the armor tips, though! Oh, another question. Any tips for high rank Basarios? He oneshot me with its laser beam.
Oops, sorry, i though you can fight high rank los.. For basarios, rath amor works fine too.. It has a great fire resistence.. Just make sure your health are full by using nutrients..
Just curious, anyone know how to get the rare mosswine item from the Mosswine? I just keep going to the Hills and killing them until they drop? Though I figure the drop rate is lower if I do the gathering quest for it but it'd take a while to do a true quest, then kill them, get nothing, then do it over again. Any opinions?
Okay, I'm going to farm the heck out of Azure Rathalos next week! Right now, I'm bored playing MHFU after getting owned by a high rank Congalala. Hate the foul breath, its as worse as a Basarios beam.
This is the best game I have purchased on ANY gaming platform! Never has a game sucked me in so much! When I started, I almost instantly regretted the purchase as it all just seemed way too confusing and deep without much help! On an early quest a tigrex appeared and I sharted my pants! I tried to fight it and died instantly, I remember thinking is never be able to kill it! Then I met a Kut ku and died constantly and almost quit! But I stuck at it and managed to get my first full armour - Kut ku! That's when the game finally made sense, I learned the Kut kus movements, got better at killing him and felt pride like in no other game when I finally completed the armour set! Now 100+ hours in I'm wearing a full tigrex set with devil slicer and cruising though missions learning all the way. This game have such an amazing learning curve! From feeling like the tigrex was the ultimate beast, to cutting its tail off and face to pieces! Not even zelda oot made me feel this good!!! 5* all I can say to noobs like myself is stick at it! Best time and money investment you can make as a gamer!
