Gotcha. So all felines use heal flutes at the same rate? I guess then the question becomes whether peace-loving (slower recovery but no attack) or cowardly (uses bombs but faster recovery) is better for a healer. Are peace-loving more likely to use skills than other cats since they don't attack? Also, how does fondness play into all of this?
It seems to me that it's crucial to have more power items for Lao. I haven't beaten him myself but the most likely reason to lose isn't health (just bring lots of potions or cook in the kitchen) but not killing him fast enough. I'm guessing power seeds might help but again, I haven't beaten him. Did everything perfectly and he still didn't die. Too weak I suppose. I'm actually not sure how many power seeds can you use? Only 1 at a time? Or can I eat 5 at once and do massive damage?
Stuff i used to repel (not kill) him were a Powertalon in my inventory, 10 power seeds, demon and mega demon drinks, a dragon element weapon upgraded to level 2. Utility items i used were power juices to run up or catch up with him and well-done steaks. I didn't even use the anti dragon bombs since i can't get on his back. Also add in Large bombs+, large bombs with scatter fish and small bombs+ for detonating the big ones
Is there a reason why a lobby I set up is not viewable from my brother's iPhone? I set up a lobby and have my brother connect to the same one (1233567890) and yet it continually says cannot find any halls?
Hey Exact-Psience! Thanks for helping me out today! I managed to finish Lao-Shan by myself after I unfortunately disconnected, I thought I was done for though! My stomach literally dropped when I realized I disconnected from you guys Red name!
Coolbeans You can also check out the MHFU Tavern and join up with other TA members who play MHFU http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=232781&page=82
Just my luck: Lao destroyed the fortress in the last minute of the quest :/ And this was the village quest too. Guess I'd better pick up the pieces of my shattered confidence lol. I suppose next time I should try to stagger him more in the walking areas Not forgetting about the power seeds I brang would have probably helped too haha
Out of curiosity, I tried to solo the urgent with Ashen Lao to get to HR5, I wasn't expecting much but I managed to repel him. Dual swords user here, I brought the Flaming Pair for the dragon attribute, a powertalon and a ton of power juice for the demon dance, I used the bombs that the quest gives you (there wasn't a dragon bomb so I didn't jump on his back), pretty much just hit his belly until he got in the fifth area, where I used the dragonator once, then kept hitting his stomach until the end. If anyone needs help with him, I'll be available in three or four hours, just post in the tavern.
Nope. No glitch. You can actually to this intentionally. Lure the Tigrex into a wall to get stuck. Or was no wall involved?
This link has a guide to explain how to transfer saves with ifunbox, it's quite easy actually, and not just you can use it, anyone who is looking to transfer game saves can use this guide as a matter of fact. Enjoy! http://www.148apps.com/news/backup-game-save-files-computer-restore-device/
It was indeed a glitch. If you're playing MP and someone disconnects for whatever the reason, every character and monster will freeze for some time except yours, so you're free to deal some damage to whichever monster you were facing. It lasts for around 25 seconds.
Just found a cool page on the MH wikia: http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Archive:_Did_You_Know%3F It has some whacky tips in it Also, apparently if you wave at the weather balloon it will tell you the position of large monsters, like a psychoserum!
Just reached HR9, and after beating a normal sized tigrex in the G rank absolute power, I was destroyed by the KING sized tigrex in the G rank land of tremors (dual tigrex)!!!! He's too damn HUGE!!! His attack deals more damage to, and he's faster because of the huge body, so the time to catch up with his charge to land a full charged blow was off... Need to try that quest again tomorrow....
I knew there was something fishy about them!!!! The first time I saw them they reminded me of the balloon presents from Animal Crossing. This game sure has many details.
I was called a hacker last time coz i was hr9 with hr9 equips and i made the monster show up on the map. I just LOL'd hard. I actually waved at the balloon.
