Wow I don't know why but I have some serious trouble with GS and LS. Say I'm hunting fast Monsters like those ...preys I miss 90% of my attacks...any suggestions?
For GS, you need to sheathe then run and just do unsheathed strikes. As with LS, im not really sure how you're missing with an LS coz it's actually pretty fast. Take advantage of the "turning towards you" coz that's generally the opening you will have all throughout the game.
Are you stuck on the terms and agreement? Currently it's broken for me, will contact Capcom when I have time.

Thanks for the advice with GS...think I have to wrap my head around those! As for the LS...I think I'm getting the hang of it. You're right...they are fast and I like the "stab-swing-combo"!
If I clear an urgent guild missions before my time (when it's not selectable I.e red khezu 4) will it act as completed once I unlock it? Also what the hell is with people carrying on attacking monsters at like 30% health? I immediately quit when people do that ...I think dark souls has really prepped me for this game , I am a lonngsword user and go pretty Kung ho on monsters seems to work so far...! Not sure if I'm playing properly though I am not really doing solo quests just guild ones and pretty much killing bosses repeatedly
Is there anybody In Boise Idaho, willing to get together to play MHFU with some HR7s? I use the Sword and Shield, Great Sword, Long Sword, and a little Dual blades(my friend the same). We've been wanting to get someone with a bowgun and someone with a hammer or lance. We are not the best but I think we are very good at times and we could help you as much as you could help us. Whew, after many attempts, I finally managed to get hold of a Ceanataur pincer for the gauntlets to complete my full Ceanataur armor set.

This game is ridiculously addicting.. I've played 50 hours so far and still don't really know wtf I'm doing.. What's the point of the kitchen? I've also hired those cats to assist me in battle and I never see them out there.. Don't quite understand, regardless I LOVE this game
using kitchen with right recipe will gained you health boost, stamina boost, attack boost, defence boost or elemental resistance bonus. you can see a whoe recipes here as guidance : http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MHFU:_Food_Recipes To select companion go to kitchen and select the board at right side (beside portable box). After that select active/reserve menu and then selcomrade menu. From there you can choose which companion that will help you.
Narga GS is actually a weak endgame GS in the game. It's one of the coolest looking GS though. Great to know another g-rank player around!
So after giving up for a while I'm giving plesioth another go. I had no luck with hammers because of his nearly undodgeable booty bumps and I've arrowed him for hours while he ran and spit on me. So I'm trying bow guns out. Bringing every type of ammo the gun can fire, and hoping something takes the SOB down.
Hi all, would love some thoughts on my armor. Love the game. Stuck on Dual Tigrex and working my way through the cat's quests... can't wait to farm the high level black monoblos... so close... Anyhow! I currently think my best two armor set choices are: Rathalos Soul Mail, Brace, Coil, Greaves + Garuga Mask + decorations = Attack up Large and High Grade Earplug. Or... Ceanataur S + Decorations = Sharpness + 1 and Attack up Small I see that +1 sharpness a white on m Ceanataur Head Ax. I looked at the dmg FAQ and it shows white would give me an increase of 5% on my hammer ~ 60. I do get more defense as well. But I love the ear plug and attack up large. That the right call? It seems to be working. Or am I missing what that white gives me? Thanks!
Omg, red khezu on village 4 star finally down... That was the hardest boss I have fought to date.... His rage mode was getting me everytime. Good thing too, I was starting to take out my own rage on my puppy, and she didn't deserve to be yelled at
