Towards the end of my run on unite and 3rd for the PSP, I was more of a bow user. At first I could handle the bow quite ok on the ipad since I can play without relying too much on the manual targetting. Lately though I really need to properly manual target for the harder monsters to deal maximum damage. The left swipe on the attack button is kinda awkward for me since it works as a toggle for the "R" on the PSP. To the bow users, did you eventually get used to manual targetting for ios? Or do you just mainly not rely on it? Would love to hear tips from fellow bow users
Anyone playing on a 5s? How is the battery drain on it? I would rather play on my phone than on my iPad, but I'm afraid that this thing will devour the battery.
Took down Yian Kut-ku in 1 try! Having the 150 health definitely helped but my switching to Lance allowed me to block most of its attacks and counter with a combo or charging at it. I'm liking the Lance more not just because of the Charge but the multi-back or side hops really improves mobility a lot compared to the GunLance. Khezu I'm coming for you next!
I am having so much fun with this game. First time ever to put hands on Monster Hunter series, and I am liking it a lot. Currently using long sword.
If you use a hammer you can do it without using the cannons/ballistas I don't know how to jump into the shells mouth though, but if you can then you can put the bombs there
Or Lance (Quake Res required though), or GS, or Bow As for jumping into his shell's mouth, you need the shell to face the fortress. When he preps to fire his attacks into the fortress, you can jump in, carve a couple times and plant anti-dragon bombs.
I can't seem to jump off the fortress where the dragonator is. I'm talking about the town map btw, can I still do it there?
Kut ku ears Been killing these many times using LS but I am unable to receive the ears. Is it only possible to get using impact damage? Right I shall try again. Thanks EP
You can use either type of damage, but you need to be attacking the head until his ears BREAK. You'll know when they break when you see the fan-looking ears look tattered. Heep hitting the head, not other body parts.
Hey, so ex poster long time lurker here. I finally decided to make a new profile as my old one is impossible to recover due to my email apparently being deleted. (I used to be readmylips back like 4 or 5 years ago) Anyhow, just wanted to drop in and say hi to my fellow hunters. Also, I noticed a lot of people continuously are commenting on super high ranked quests. I feel like I'm barely making progress from all the required farm (just got to 3 star elder quests) and was wondering what the dealio was with the super fast progression. Tips? Also, for those of you struggling with kut Ku and and the like, I would reccommend farming out enough to buy (I believe it's called) the chain mail set from the cat next to the smith. It gives high defense for early game and speed sharpen. Also, ls, gs and bg for life. Get katana grace. Win life.
What's the best way to farm blangos? Can you leave the village when you're not on a quest? How do I get a kut ku stone?
1. Just Blangos? Not Blangonga? Coz there's the Blango Tactics Quest which require you to hunt a fixed number of Blangos. 90% of the enemies there are all blangos. 2. You cannot. 3. Your nearest grocery store should have unlimited stocks.
